Summary: Good idea, not such a good book
Review: As a woman who has just been diagnosed with breast cancer, I have spent the last 3 weeks researching and reading books on the topic. I had high hopes for this book. I was disappointed to find that it is poorly written and despite all those pages, doesn't say anything helpful. I don't recommend this one even though I haven't found another one to recommend.

Summary: INSPIRATIONAL BOOK!
Review: Having gone through breast cancer myself, I must say that this book was God sent! It not only helped my husband help me get through my cancer ordeal, it inspired us both to live a more complete and loving life. Great book with great information, presented in a most entaining manner. We adore Ann Jillian and now we can adore her husband too! Our sincere thanks to these fine authors. This was a first of it's kind book for us in th "battle" for our lives. M/M B. Harvey, Orland Park, Il.

Summary: If you're in this situation, read this book... very helpful!
Review: This book was recommended to us by my wife's surgeon and it was tremendously helpful in making sense out of the thoughts and emotions arising from cancer diagnosis and treatment. It lends practical powerful advice for supporting the person you love while dealing with the devastating consequences upon yourself. You will quickly realize that your unexpected thoughts and fears are not uncommon, in fact perfectly normal. The co-authors' openness about their triumphs and mistakes are helpful in developing a strategy to assist your significant other through this crisis. It should be required reading for every couple faced with a cancer diagnosis or any similar situation. I highly recommend this book!
