Rating: Summary: Good Book Review: Mama may not have had a great education, but she sure had plenty common sense, and was able to raise a boy who would become someone great is his own right. What Mama Taught Me is a great book. I enjoyed reading it. I truly learned a lot of things within it. It is great when someone can take a child that is not their own and raise them to be great, and even though Ms.Sanford is not here today, she certainly deserves the props she got for raising this man. One of the things that I have learned is to be true to who you are. He mentioned those who were not true to their ethnic and racial background, which was an eye opener to say the least. Get a copy and be enlightened.
