Valerie's ability to find humor in the absolute worst of circumstances and to courageously face a myriad of unknowns with undying faith will help you find your own "fire within."

Valerie's bravery and determination saw her through her own personal hell which she miraculously transcended. She came back to us with a beautifully inspiring message about the strength of the human spirit. Sadly, we here in America have no great myths to follow, we just don't have heros to speak to our souls and rekindle the fire in our hearts. Valerie is a modern American Hero. Thank you, Valerie, we all love you.

Valerie shares her insight and knowledge as she strives to become a survivor instead of a victim. Her constant enthusiasm and drive is a true inspiration. Readers will cheer her on with each page.

While some tried to convince her to accept her limitations after the stroke, it only ignited the fire within her. She took that determiniation and set high goals for herself. This is a book that will apeal to everyone. Readers can feel her strength and purpose as she deals with each barrier.

This is a focused, passionate, and honest story. It is educational as well as amusing, due to the author's delightful sense of humor. I highly recomment it. Great job Ms Greene!
