Summary: It helped me! But not just to lose weight...
Review: I was a sceptic until a fellow at a weight loss counselling group gave me this tape after I had complained that I couldn't control my eating binges. At first I noticed I slept much deeper and more restful. Then I started drinking mostly water and cut back on soft drinks and coffee. Pretty soon fast-food TV commercials didn't make me have cravings. I stopped binging. I started walking and exercising. I felt better about myself than I had in years! Not that I had lost so much weight, but mentally I was more positive. Throughout the years, whenever I felt I needed a deep sleep or a mental boost, I'd play the tape. Well, I moved out of the country and lost my tape! I just moved back and I'm so happy to see it available through AMAZON! I'm looking forward to hearing his soothing voice and seeing the "violet light" again!

Review: It turns out I'm not the most consistent and disciplined person in the world, still this audio book has surprised me in lots of ways. At first I was distrustful of the "subliminal" messages it might contain, but after I listened to it a couple of times wide awake, I allowed it to do its work while I was asleep.
I am Still fat, I haven't lost any wheight yet but I have noticed my eating habits have changed and most incredible of all: I ACTUALLY NOTICE WHEN I AM FULL and stop eating without feeling deprived. It did help and it is still helping even if I have failed to listen to it regularly.
