Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Good information, Difficult to read
Review: This book provided a solid introduction to community psychology, but it was very difficult to read. Most of this was because of small, dense text and numerous citations. They author used proper APA in-text citations, but they were so lengthy and numerous that you would read one sentence followed by a citation and two more sentences and another lengthy citation. The authors did provide solid examples of real life experience and research results that made the material seem salient and meaningful. This is the first edition and the book has a solid foundation, but I hope the next edition is a bit more user-friendly.
