Summary: Excellent Book To Help You Set Goals And Achieve Them
Review: After reading many development books on a number of subjects from Tom Hopkins, Brian Tracey, Zig Ziglar, Burt Nanus, Anthony Robbins - I found this book to be the best when it comes to setting and achieving goals. The book is masterfully written with easy steps to take which can immediatly help you to develop a clear vision and plan for your future. My hats off to Mr. Newberry for this excellent book.

Summary: I refer to this book constantly - goal setting owners manual
Review: I read this book about a year ago and was very happy with it. It's one of the few books that I have been interested enough in to stay with and finish within 2 days. I found myself unable to put it down.

Now don't get me wrong - the information here is nothing earth shattering. A lot of it is tried and true principles that have been around for many hundreds of years. What makes this book work is the delivery and writing style. It presents goal setting in a clear, understandable and very useable fashion.

If you are into goal setting I think you'll find yourself referring to this book again and again. I know I have and recommend it highly.

Summary: Absolutely Wonderful!! HIGHLY Recommended!!!
Review: If you are truly seeking to make a positive change (of any nature) in your life, this book is truly an asset to you.

Don't let the goofy cover turn you off... actually, in a sea of self-help books, it was the goofy cover that caught my attention. I am so glad it did.

Though not all these concepts were new to me, the book was still valuable. It expanded upon knowlege I had as well as provided me with many new tools. His instructions are written in broad enough terms that their application may be universal. I am in recovery from a serious illness and I am able to use these concepts as much for the purposes of completing a long and depressing recovery as for the purposes of planning financial security.

Despite the suit and tie and very rigid appearance of Tommy Newberry on the cover, there is a metaphysical element to this book that really appeals to me. Another reviewer wrote that this book is just a rehash of what he already knew... perhaps. However, I know very few people who practice cognitive discipline to bring about prosperity. These concepts may be as old as time, but in our distraction-addicted, reactionary society the culture of victimization has eclipsed the efficacy of personal-responsibility and self-discipline. Most of us have forgotten how easy it is to better ourselves.

I love this book so much. I have given copies to my loved ones.

Summary: Don't be fooled...
Review: It seems as Im getting closer to my mid twenties, Im getting wiser with age. I personally have been reading self help type books since I was 17. Most are insulting at best. I picked this one up and figure what the hell, maybe I could use a refresher course. But it ends there. Pretty much all of these self help books are the same, they pump you up with some esoteric(unique)techniques, tell you what you want to hear, and leave you dry. They simply are not effective in the long term.

This book is no different. When you buy a new book, you think you're gonna understand a new concept that only you know, but when you read it, it's all the same stuff over and over, distilled only slightly different. Here are all self help books: 1. Believe in yourself 2. Set goals 3. Life isn't so bad. 4. You can achieve anything. There. every single self help book summed up in 4 sentences. I really think it's sad people are so weak, they have to pay someone else money to tell them common sense. Most of these books I read at the library for free. Maybe Im gonna start reading ficiton...

Summary: The Best of the Best!!
Review: Success Is Not An Accident is one of the finest books I've ever read!! It's like a combination of Think and Grow Rich, The Magic of Thinking Big, The Path, and Psycho-Cybernetics. I've read it four times already and have learned something new each time. If your house catches on fire, this is something you grab on your way out! It's easy to read and really explains not just the "what," but also the "how to." It's got it all! The more ambitious you are, the more you'll get out of it. I've purchased a copy for everyone important in my life.

Summary: lifechanging stuff
Review: The book has the potential to get u to the top,in any profession. It contains the basic fundamental truths about success. It pinpoints the way what to do and most importantly How to do it.I have been exposed to some of the best books in self help like Unlimited power,Success through a positive mental attitude,Think like a winner,Maximum achievement and my all time favorite Psychocybernetics(The original one)."Success is not an accident" contains all the great ideas from all of them.It is not a mere motivational book but also provides powerful tools to make your dreams a reality.
The author makes us feel that we don't have to compare to others regarding our potential instead we have to take action and calculated risks towards our goals .This advice helps to place our feet firmly on the ground and see what we have, for ourselves and strive to our goals with those qualities ,which makes smooth functioning of our creative success mechanism.
The book provides a valuable goal setting chapter and the visualizations that has to go along with working towards the goal.
Overall it is a very good book who seeks to explore his full potential and to stretch beyond his self imposed limits.

I also prefer books like Psychocybernetics by Maxwell Maltz and Maximum achievement by Brian Tracy

Summary: Cuts to the chase and hits a homer!
Review: The reason I recommend this books is because it gets right to the point. The initial chapter spends a lot of time talking about goals - and follows it up with loads of bullet points, graphics and an appendix with several pages of things to think about when you develop your goal list.

I found the book easy to read and it hits on and reinforces all of the popular self-improvement topics.

This is the type of books that I am going to go crazy with the highlighter and then keep it out and refer to it constantly.

Especially helpful is the fact that Tommy doesn't just tell you to write down goals -- but takes you through the whole process.

Highly recommended.

Summary: Fantastic Book
Review: The title of this says it all. Tom Mewberry provides a very clear, concise, easy to follow roadmap to achieve success. His approach is a no nonsense, easy to understand style. I recommend this book to all people who want to improve themself, their family life, business, spiritual life, or any thing in between. If 10 stars could be given, this would definately be 10+

Summary: It will change your life for the better!
Review: This book is a must for anyone that wants to get the most out of life. Newberry has broken down what it takes to make it happen now and in the future.

The content is easy to read and easy to understand with a true step by step method of moving forward fast. The book helps you focus on what actions must be taken by you if you are willing to help yourself. Newberry has no fluff and wants everyone to be responsible but the methods work and you will get results.
