Rating: Summary: The Title "How To Fight A Grappler And Win" is not my title. Review: When I first wrote this book, the title was simply " How To Fight A Grapper". I never intended it to have "AND WIN" at the end of the title, this was placed there by the publisher. All I was trying to say was that if you are going to fight a grappler, you must never try to grapple him! As you will lose! You might well lose anyway, but using these methods gives you at least a chance. Having been a wrestler of some note in my youthful days, I know what I am talking about when I say that grapplers are the most dangerous fighters, one on one! However, street fights usually do not happen "one on one". And to compare the UFC tournaments with real street fighting is ridiculous as there ARE rules and there is a limited space in which to fight and there is only one person to fight! If there weren't any rules people would die and no-one, I am sure, wants that. This book was never intended for grapplers, it was intended for those poor misguided souls who are continually being beaten up by a good grappler! Like the karate people who never know what it is really like to have to fight someone who is in your face before you can blink, like a good grappler! I teach self defence, REAL self defence, not tournament fighting for ego! I teach people how to protect themselves and loved ones with the most dangerous methods ever invented, which are there to kill, not to prove who is the best fighter!
