Summary: This book is a joke!!!
Review: If you are naive enough to believe that you can beat a grappler by using the pressure points taught in this book go to a grappling school and try it. You will be proven thoroughly wrong and submitted the second you hit the mat. The best defense to grappling is knowing your opponents offense, which means you have to be a grappler to beat a grappler.

Summary: Do you know anything about Erle Montague?
Review: Im sorry some people who are grapplers feel that way.
Im sorry that some people feel the need to argue about it.
If those who feel they need to argue knew that Erle Montague actually WAS A FORMER PRO WRESTLER perhaps none of them would have actually said anything and made themselves look bad.

Summary: "IMPRACTICAL BULLSH*@#?!"
Review: No real opponent who's well versed in any grappling art is going to allow you to demonstrate these moves on them. By the time you try this junk in a real fight you'll look like a human pretzel. Do you really think that what you see grapplers do in the UFC and other events is the only thing that they would do to you in a real street fight? Get real! I've studied Miyama-Ryu Ju-jitsu and Gracie Ju-jitsu along with a couple of other forms of hand to hand fighting and if there's one thing I know it's that a person that relies solely upon pressure point techniques to adequately defend themselves against a true grappler can only expect to get pummeled besides the expected submission holds that come with the butt whooping. I would like to see one of these pressure point experts try this junk on one of the Gracie brothers or Rodrigo Medeiros; I'm sure afterwards you'll be quick to admit that it doesn't work like you thought it would.

Summary: IF U LEARN ONE THING FROM THIS BOOK, THEN IT IS USEFULL.
Review: READERS!! If u are buying this book or any book having in your mind that once u read it u will become the next BRUCE LEE, then dont even think of buying it. But if u are seeking knowledge in the art, then buy all the books u can afford about all kinds of martial arts, and read them. If, once u have read them, u have learned ONE NEW IDEA about the "ART OF FIGHTING", then u havent wasted ur money.DONT SEE A BOOK AS ONLY A BOOK! FOR IT IS A WELL OF KNOWLEDGE. As The Master once said: "It is like a finger pointing away to the moon...dont waste ur time on the finger or u will miss all this heavenly glory"

Summary: A detailed account of close-quarter Dim Mak applications.
Review: The fourth book in Mr. Montaigue's Dim Mak series; this book provides advanced martial arts advice for ground fighting techniques. Contents include specific examples of Dim Mak strikes, which could be used in a close-quarter combat situations.

Summary: GREAT STUDY !!!!!
Review: This book is great, and I just cant overstate that enough! This book has really good training techniques that can easily be learned from unlike many other books! how to develop your "eagle vision" improve accuracy etc. also shows 5 sleeper holds that will leave them lying! definately a good companion to add to any library. like many of mr. montaigue's books this book would be a great training guide whether a novice or advanced martial artist this book would be most benificial! know how to deal with a grappler by understanding his game and defeating him with your own by beating him before he can get you to the ground! or if he is lucky enough to have gotten you there learn dim-mak points that are easily managed from the ground by merely pinching! does not show you subnission holds, or grappling possitions. but rather how to avoid the ground in the first place. sounds to good to be true, or like someone thinking "im to good to be taken to the ground!" i know submissoins, and how to grapple. i know a little dim-mak, but i also know that if you study this book, then you will never be at a loss against a good grappler agian. A MUST READ!!

Summary: Great book!
Review: This book is very good...in my opinion. I only have 3 stars because I'm very picky in order for my review to be taken seriously. It's not the BEST book out there, but it definitely is not a bad one either. It shows some common basics such as punching with REAL and TREMENDOUS power...a skill often overlooked by many stand up fighters, because if they could hit harder, then all they would have to do is hit a grappler once. "When in doubt go for the neck" is one of my favorite quotes from this book. It tells of how to really take an attacker out, which is why this is such a good book. It is also very specific about how to do each technique in the book...which is good if you know nothing about this art. I train in the Japanese form of this Dim Mak, called Kyusho-Jitsu, and I have tremendous respect for the Chinese form after reading this book.

Summary: ALL YOU'LL EVER NEED TO LEARN ABOUT "SELF DEFENSE"
Review: To whoever says this book is difficult and useless, Im teaching my 5 yr. old niece this stuff. Grappling is not superior, just different...How can you deny thousands of years of proven effectiveness? Supposed "no holds barred" tournaments do have restrictions against groin and neck shots.....so who is supreme? humble monks and educated martial artits who know better than to fight for EGO...............!
