Review: I found this books to be really excellent. It was not a general,...overview. It covered all known symptoms found in survivors, showing how these theories were based on hard statistics. It was amazing to see how far-reaching the effects are of child-abuse. Although written for professional councellors, it could be read by lay councellors and patients alike. I would really recommend this book to anyone with any interest in the effects of child abuse and how to help them.
