Review: I can't thank Dr. Carducci enough for writing this book. Dr. Carducci addresses the issue of childhood shyness with not only an excellent explanation of what shyness is but he also provides practical tips on how parents can help their shy child become "successfully shy". Dr. Carducci uses short stories to illustrate the obstacles a shy child encounters and integrates his tips to show how to better address the situation. My 4 year old daughter is a typical "slow to warm up" child and by implementing Dr. Carducci's suggestions my daughter now more easily adjusts to new situations, new people and new activities. This is a must read for parents of a shy child.
