Rating: Summary: more than disappointing Review: i was looking for information on infertility, not christianity and god. misleading and deceptive, this book is hardly helpful or inspirational for the infertile. you want inspiration and information on getting through your infertility? take a look at the infertility survival handbook which has a great combination of the two without mentioning religion in overt terms.
Rating: Summary: Not What I Expected Review: I'm sure this book is very powerful and helpful for some. However, be aware that this book does not provide any medical information but instead discusses the author's feelings and frustrations and how her faith in God helped her through infertility. The book is heavily religious. The few reviews I read did not provide this information, and I expected something different.
Rating: Summary: Excellent reading Review: My wife can't stop raving about this book. It has helped us both in so many way. I would recommend this book to anyone dealing with this issue. God Bless.
Rating: Summary: This book is a scam Review: Only 46 pages in this book actually have print, the rest of the book is for journal pages. The pages that do have print are copied prayers. The words the author actually composes herself are just duplicated over and over again in each chapter. The religious undertones were never identified in the description of the book. I feel like I have been scammed in purchasing this book. I also think that everyone here who has given the book 5 stars are friends of the author (or the author herself using different accounts) who are trying to scam the amazon users into buying her book. I have reported this author and book to customer support and hope they can do something about such a misleading and fraudulant marketing campaign. I am so mad, I almost feel like suing the author for misrepresentation. She used iuniverse.com, so is self published...BE AWARE PEOPLE THIS IS A VERY SCARY BOOK
Rating: Summary: Disappointing Review: Please don't buy this book looking for a comprehensive book on infertility with Christian overtones. This book really should be listed only under the sprituality or inspiration section. It has no realistic information about infertility. While I empathize with Mrs. Canady's experiences, having had my own, I did not find comfort in her words. Some people, however, may find her comforting as long as they know the book does not give you scientific or medical answers.

Rating: Summary: Misleading Book Description! Review: The author here pours out her heart demonstrating her faith in our almighty savior, Jesus Christ. She emphasizes the fact that there is nothing we can do without Jesus Christ in our lives. Waiting for the next book!!!
Rating: Summary: We can never ever talk too much about JESUS!!! Review: The author here pours out her heart demonstrating her faith in our almighty savior, Jesus Christ. She emphasizes the fact that there is nothing we can do without Jesus Christ in our lives. Waiting for the next book!!!
Rating: Summary: what to expect when your not expecting Review: The book and the author are simply AWESOME!! A wonderful book written straight from the heart!!!
Rating: Summary: Misleading Book Description! Review: The book description belies the content of the book. There is nothing about Christianity in the book description, but this book is all about dedicating your life to Jesus, with prayers in Jesus' name. As a non-Christian, I am extremely annoyed that I had to buy the book before I found out that it was not only not relevant to me, but contrary to my religious beliefs. If you *really* want to find out about "What to Expect When You're Not Expecting," check out something like "Experiencing Infertility."
