Review: My husband and I have been planning a family for the past 6 mths. I am glad we decided to purchase this book! There is so much to think about before conceiving - nutrition, exercise, delivery options, etc. I thought I knew quite a bit about pregnancy and childbirth but this book opened my eyes! All mothers-to-be should have this book.

Summary: an excellent book for your entire pregnancy and beyond
Review: This book helped me tremendously during both of my pregnancies. It provided a monthly guide to my baby's development as well as what I could expect to happen to me. This book also provides childbirth tips and options, problems with pregnancies, and other helpful medical information that most soon-to-be parents want to know. I give this book as gifts to friends when they announce their pregnancy...it's a must have!

Summary: THE BEST PREGNANCY GUIDE ON THE MARKET!!
Review: After a depressing and guilt-ridden "What to Expect When You're Expecting", I felt so refreshed after reading this book. I'm a first time expectant mother, and I found this book to be so much more informative and appealing!! The colorful pictures and great medical advice along with the sections on breastfeeding and post-natal care were absolutely wonderful. I would definitely recommend this guide to any mom. Dr. Stoppard's opinions are much like my OB/GYN's and my husband has learned a lot as well. A definite MUST HAVE!!

Review: I recomend this book! It has been with me through two lost pregnancys and now I am currently 7 months pregnant. It helps with every question that comes to mind, good or bad. I have bought every book known to mankind about being pregnant and this book plus two others are the best.

Summary: Pregnant or Thinking About it? Get this Book!
Review: I have read a plethora of pregnancy books (being the over-eager first-time mother), and this is, without question, the best, most informative pregnancy book currently on the market. The color pictures are outstanding, and the advice (particularly in the "If Something Goes Wrong" chapter) is sound. I refer to this book on a weekly (if not more frequent) basis. It's like having your doctor on call -- don't go through your pregnancy without it!

Summary: The Only Book Needed
Review: This is "the" book to buy when pregnant, or even before becoming pregnant. Not only does it provide ALL the information that you need, it also provides top-notch color photos. There is also a woman in the book that you follow by watching the changes occuring in her body. It also provides basic baby care information therefore you are covered from pre-conception up to six months - what a steal.

Review: I read every pregnancy book there was, and this was THE BEST. From the moment you decide to have a baby, every step...from conception, through every phase of pregnancy, every test, every concern, and even a guide to preparing to bring the baby home and what you will need to buy....its all in this BIBLE. It also does an excellent job at presenting your options on topics such as breast vs. bottle feeding without bias or preaching. I highly reccomend it to all! Lisa

Review: If you're pregnant now or thingking of becoming pregnant, this book will be your bible for the next year. My husband bought this for me in the first trimester of my pregnancy and of all the gifts that his ever given it still remains by far the best. So much of pregnancy is scary and confusing Dr. Stoppard gives you the facts as well as comforting reassurance. Questions you don't even know you are going to have will be answered here. I recommend this book to anyone who is in the process of conception , pregnancy or birth. I've already given it to two friends

Review: After looking through dozens of very depressing, frightening pregnancy books, I was thrilled when my freind gave me Stoppard's book. She is very thorough and covers various alternatives including natural remedies and home births. Whatever type of pregnancy and delivery you want, Stoppard covers all of your options in great detail. Her book is very up beat and helps women to keep a very positive attitude during what can be a very trying time. It has been a very useful reference for me
