Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Compassionate - Insightful
Review: Using real-life examples, the authors address compassionately many of the real-time problems caregivers face. You might find your parent and help for your problem in their stories.

While I am not in favor of their pop-psychology (labeling people)approach that leads people to think of themselves as diagnosticians, I do find valuable insights in this book.

Rating: 3 stars
Summary: Compassionate - Insightful
Review: Using real-life examples, the authors compassionately address many of the real-time problems caregivers face. You may find your parent and, more than likely, answers for your problems in their stories.

My failure to give five stars stems from my profound disagreement with the authors' labeling-people approach. Aside from the fact that it encourages people to think of themselves as pop psychologists, it also tends to divide people into those "with the problem" and those "with the cure." However, I do find many valuable insights in this book. Ignore the labels. Use their advice.
