Summary: Marcia's the Best!
Review: I have known Marcia for more than ten years when she began speaking for me as a presenter at national conferences for trainers. Out of hundreds of presenters who spoke for me each year, Marcia was always top on my list in terms of "visionary" insight yet at the same time offering "practical" approaches. I have always held Marcia in the highest esteem in terms of her ability to understand learners and the education process. She not only understands what is happening today, but can imagine what the future should be. Further, she can clearly communicate to people how to get from here to there, as well as how to make learning more effective right now.I must admit that I have not yet read the book as I just this minute found out that it had finally been published, but knowing Marcia as I do, I can't imagine it would rate less than 5 stars! I'm sure you'll enjoy the book as much as I have enjoyed hearing Marcia's insights personally over the years. Rhonda Rosenof

Review: I just found out about Marcia's book and ordered my copy. I've known Marcia personally since 1997 when we both worked at PeopleSoft, and she's one of the most interesting people I've known. She's also dedicated her life to the study of learning. If anyone could write a great book on learning better, smarter and faster, it would be Marcia! I just ordered my copy and if you want to learn more about learning, I hope you order yours. I'll update my review as soon as I've read it!

Learn More Now is an inspiring, compelling and totally absorbing read. I started with apprehension, expecting a struggle, and finished it with delight and very knowledgeable on how I obtain knowledge and skills, how to focus my energy and realize my full potential. Learn More Now offers a pragmatic and powerful set of resources for any organization or individual wishing to learn better, smarter and faster. Wow! A great book for a great price! Parents and teachers would be well advised to read this book in order to develop an understanding of effective education. Conversely, those engaged in business will find much to benefit from learning how experiences develop the habits of customers and intelligent ways to effect their perception. An essential read for everyone!

Summary: A good book
Review: Learn More Now is a good book about learning, it helps you undestand how your brain works and how we can get the most of our personal learning style to improve our understanding and recalling skills.
I believe it main weakness is not to propouse a general map of how to engage into studing (some general steps to follow), instead it goes thru differents technics and explanations on how you learn and how to improve your comprehension. It does all this in a easy to read manner.
If you are beginning to try to get the most of your time and getting better grades, this is a useful book to read, but will have to manage yourself to give some structure to all the technics included.

Review: Learning is like the weather, everyone talks about it but nobody does much about it. Marcia does. Although learning styles are known to differ and a few researchers have described some of them we have lacked a comprehensive view of the learning challenge and how to accelerate learning. Marcia's recipes are learner-specific and cover the gamut. I am fairly succesful at life long learning but encountered several nice surprises in this book. I applaud Marcia for learning all this and am amazed that she was able to write it all down in such an organized, understandable way. I bought extra copies for presents.
