Rating: Summary: It told all of the brother's secrets Review: I read this book about 2 years ago and was amazed on how this book actually told of the life of me nd almost everyone I know. I am glad someone came to the realization that men are not always the problem in the relationship, especially black relationships. What a wake up to the black community. I hope the women who read this book wake up as well. Although, like I said before, it does explain all of the secrets that we as brothers have known for years.
Rating: Summary: Eye-Openeing Review: I read this book awhile ago and couldn't stop talking about it to my female friends as well as male (although some (Men) thought Their secrets were being revealed..lol) I thought that it was eye-opening..I came away from reading this book saying Hmmmmmmmmm... }:-) (My Eye spy Face) Keep up the good work Micheal!!!
Rating: Summary: From the first page to last, it has drama and excitement Review: I enjoyed this book so much that I am hungry for the next book. I was able to relate to the book and want to tell everyone to go out and buy it. The writer is in tuned with the real world and releases this with " much energy" and excitement. " I loved it man".
Rating: Summary: A Year to Remember Review: Now that my tour has come to and end, I would like to give thanks to the creator for blessing me with success in this increasingly competitive industry. It's a great feeling as a black man to be able to demonstrate to my daughter as well as to other children, that they can achieve success at something besides singing and dribbling a basketball. I'd also like to once again thank all of you out there who stood by me through all of the harsh criticism. It's been a long and hard road but with your support and God's guidance I think I've finally gotten over the hump. Now it's time to settle in for the long winter and complete my next book, The Maintenance Man. I will be posting the release date on my site in May along with the synopsis and possible excerpts from the first Chapter. If you belong to a book club, please e-mail me with your information. Book clubs will be notified directly about the release date. Once again, thanks for supporting my books and my seminars. I'm anxiously looking forward to seeing all of you next year with a new book and a new seminar format. Until than, Happy Holidays and stay out of trouble.
Rating: Summary: A must purchase for men and women Review: I was very interested in reading this book when I received a brochure from Mr. Baisden at a club in Atlanta. From just reading the brochure on this book I knew I had to purchase it. I loved every minute of this book, although at times it hit home and brought back memories of trifling old boyfriends who cheated. I think he did an excellent job on delivering the facts while keeping the reader interested and amused at the same time. It is sad that so many men and women don't realize the horrific results of infidelity and how it continues a cycle that seems to never end. Hopefully those men and women that continously cheat will read this book and put an end to the cycle of infidelity once and for all. I look forward to reading more books by Mr. Baisden in the future.
Rating: Summary: Hard hitting and completely truthful Review: Michael Baisden has written a book that is a must read for all those who are wondering about a partner's strange behavior. It is not a how to book to cheat but rather explores some of the reasons why some men may feel compelled to sneak out the back door. It offers a myriad of reasons for cheating but does not excuse the cheater himself. Clearly, this type of behavior is excused by women who knowingly lay down with married men. They in turn provide the cheating man with partners to be unfaithful with. Other men learn to be unfaithful from fathers or uncles who continually got away with it by dutiful spouses looking the other way. Other men are driven to it by their lack of success as a so-called "nice guy". They may see the bad guys getting the girls. And some men just have a disrespectful attitude towards women because of what a woman will allow. An excellent well written book. I highly recommend it to anyone who is in or out of a relationship.
Rating: Summary: A must-have for all of you "wanna-be players"!! Review: For anyone who has ever thought about cheating and thought they could get away with it, this is the book for you!! Baisden has clearly revolutionized the art of creepin' with this book. Naive women who continue to think that their man is "faithful" should consider this book as mandatory reading!!
Rating: Summary: An Eye Opener Review: I heard alot about the book before reading it and it definitely was an eye opener. It was interesting to read a man's honest point of view on dating. It was informative, humourous and realistically sad. I think more men should read this book, because I feel that if they can only read in print what the emotional ramifications that their actions have on females, just maybe it could cause a change in their behavior. (Wishful Thinking) This was my first book that I've read by Mr. Baisden, but definitely not my last.
Rating: Summary: EYE-OPENING & REALISTIC Review: I REALLY THINK THAT THIS BOOK, KINDA GIVES WOMEN A HEADS UP ON THE NO GOOD DIRTY THINGS THAT MEN DO. IF YOU ASK ME, MEN HAVE NO REGARD FOR THE FEMALE GENDERS FEELINGS AT ALL. WHY WOULD YOU WANT TO RISK YOUR LIFE, RELATIONSHIP, AND YOUR PARTNERS LIFE JUST FOR A "QUICKIE". I WILL FOREVER SAY THAT MEN ARE NO GOOD AND A SERIOUS WASTE OF TIME. BECAUSE THEY ALL ARE THE SAME. AND THIS BOOK PROVES WHAT I HAVE BEEN SAYING ALL ALONG. IT'S ABOUT TIME A MAN STOOD AND CONFESSED. WHAT WOMEN HAVE KNOWN SINCE THE BEGINNING OF TIME!!!!!!!! THANKS
Rating: Summary: "A Serious Wake up Call for Black Men & Women Everywhere!" Review: I had heard a lot about the book before I purchased it. It took me one sitting to read the whole thing! I laughed, cried, cursed, disagreed and tossed the book across the room; nevertheless, its frank and forward "no holds" structure laid all the cards on the table to be examined! In one section, "Dogs", the author referred to the wives/girlfriends of the cheater as innocent victims -- I likened them to Casualties of War, one too many cadavers to count! The author made no excuses, gave no justifications (don't need any!), but supplied me with enough information to understand -- NOT ACCEPT, understand! In the end, I recommend this book to all men and women. Its simple and straight forward, and I believe that for the men, they will see the unfortunate outcome of infidelity and its effect on society as a whole. As for the women, they will see the horror of it all as it relates to women and our acceptance of immoral, emotionally bankrupt behavior. Go head Mr. Baisden! Continue to tell it like it is! The blindfolds have been removed! I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW!
