Summary: Never Satisfied
Review: Author Michael Baisden reveals the reasons behind why men in relationships often cheat on their significant others in "Never Satisfied". Giving women the "heads up" on the tell tale signs of infidelity through the behavior of unfaithful lovers, Baisden creatively uses real life accounts of cheating men to illustrate exactly what women should look for. A wide range of men and women were researched and interviewed to provide vivid, scandalous, stories of men who find themselves in compromising situations. Women and men will find themselves laughing at the humorous, true to life, predicaments that the characters in the short stories find themselves in. The book attacks the psychological, sociological, and even economic issues behind why men are unfaithful from a realistic perspective rather than using the popular oversimplification "All men are dogs" routine which talk shows have adopted as the standard. "Never Satisfied" provides an entertaining look at popular social locals such as NightClubs, Bars, Parties, and of course the Bedroom giving readers an all-inclusive look at the mindset of the cheating man.

In the beginning of this book, the author makes a statement about his feeling that many men will view this book as a betrayal of a secret code which says that men should not, under any circumstances, reveal the secret methods of cheating to any women. While not admitting to personally using any of the cheating tactics outlined in this book, I will say that Myself and any other man who reads this book will feel a strong sense of betrayal that a sacred code amongst players may have been violated beyond repair. This feeling along with my duty as a Book Critic leaves me very conflicted because even if I don't believe a book like this should be written, I must admit that it is very well written, easy to follow and very entertaining.

If I were to recommend this book it would obviously be to women of all age groups who want to know the true feelings and reasons why men cheat; likewise, to women who suspect their man is cheating and want to evaluate the signs. A warning to all men out there who are cheating or considering cheating: If your woman has read or is reading this book, you had better decide to do the right thing and show some restraint or change your methods all together.

Summary: Information or Confirmation?
Review: Curiosity led me to purchase this book years ago. Heartbreak led me to read it after learning that the man who confessed his love for me was cheating. In hopes of understanding HIS problem, certain that the problem was NOT mine, I read and studied the book because of my love for him.

Despite my pain, I enjoyed the book and learned some interesting and amusing facts about the excuses men and women give for infidelity. The trouble that cheaters go through should be enough to make them retire. Cheating seems to be such an emotionally, mentally, financially and physically exhausting feat, I'll never understood WHY anyone would torture themselves.

Nevertheless, I eventually realized that men do NOT cheat for the reasons outlined. The author suggests there are external factors that FORCE men into unfaithful behaviors: 1) generational habits, 2) weak women (permit it), 3) unsatisfied at home, and 4) women do it, too. MEN WHO CHEAT DO IT BECAUSE THEY CHOOSE TO CHEAT. Likewise, women who cheat and play games with cheaters do it because they make the same decisions too.

Eventually, I ended the relationship with the cheater - not because of his behavior - but I made a decision... to live a more joyous and peaceful life!

"Never Satisfied" was a thought-provoking read - sure to heighten your awareness or confirm your suspicions.

Summary: The sad but truth about Men....
Review: Well I'm eighteen years old and I wish I would have read this book from the jump, because I could have avoided bad situations with men. This book is truly an eye opener, When I have a daughter I will inssist she reads it. But overall it's a good book, at parts I would laugh and some parts I would just shake my head in shame because it's the real. And it hits you from all perspectives the dog, the other woman, the wife/girlfriend this isn't just for women men need to read this too.

Summary: Interesting and sad
Review: I bought this book last year in my ongoing attempt to understand the workings of the male mind. As I read the stories of the men interviewed for this book, I couldn't help but wonder why these men chose to put so much time and effort into being trifling. They concocted some really elaborate schemes to cover up their chicks on the side. I mean really, wouldn't have just been easier to remain single and unattached?

I have seen Mr. Baisden in person and heard him on the radio, and he is a dynamic speaker.

I appreciated how this book examined infidelity from the perspective of the cheating male. That's not something I've seen in print before. It definitely gave me some things to thing about it.

I've loaned this book to a couple of friends and we've all had pretty similar reactions. Mr. Baisden may not be a formal social scientist, but I enjoyed reading his anecdotes and observations nontheless. Sometimes, authors can become so steeped in academia that they lose the common touch. While this book is not likely to garner any awards, it's a worthwhile read for women, like me, who sometimes wonder what makes men do the things that they do.

Summary: STAND UP AND BE ACCOUNTABLE
Review: About 3 years ago I begin to become in tune with myself and relationships. Never Satisfied has not only sharpen the thoughts that I already carried but it also hit home to a lot of past experiences that I refused to go through. So all the men who want to sell lines, run games, I suggest that you read Never Satisfied because if women like myself and others are reading it, you should know that we are definitely becoming wise(r). Thanks Michael for writing such a wonderful book. I also want to say "Thank-you" for setting examples to all the younger individuals who believe they can not succeed because it is possible and you are definitely a shinning star to that possibility. Look forward to reading your next book.

Summary: Love Or Hate Mike???
Review: I truly enjoyed reading this book and found it very hard to put down...Throughout the book I found myself wondering whether I should be happy he was opening the eyes of men and women or to be upset because now when I mention that I am going to play sports with my friends any female that has read this book becomes curious and now wants "to play" as well!!

Summary: Won't the REAL men please stand up...
Review: And tell us that you don't actually behave this way? Written from the viewpoint of the reformed Playa himself, this book goes so deeply into "How to be a Playa" and "Any reason is a good excuse to cheat", then devotes, what? Two pages to the disclaimer that cheating is damaging to relationships? He makes it seems like if a man cheats, it is because of something a woman did or didn't do. How much responsibility for the crime does Mr. Baisden place on the cheater himself? I only have to hope that there are men who cherish good relationships and women in general, not who feel trapped and suffocated by their women and are "forced" to go out and cheat.

To the reader who said, "Why bother?", I pretty much agree. It doesn't seem to matter how wonderful BOTH of you think the relationship is or how much he is in love, he will probably search for sex elsewhere if you forget to take the dishes out of the dishwasher.

As for the book, and others by this author, it is very disappointing that the grammatical errors are distracting to say the least. Spell check, proofreading, and writing lessons will help that. The author's immature approach to shedding light on one of the most devastating issues in relationships? No help there.

Summary: Simply Wonderful!!
Review: Loved this book. I really got an inside peek at the heart of a man and why so often things don't work out. Now that I know why men are at times unable to commit. I am now ready to read the latest work by LaDawn Black - Stripped Bare: 10 Tested Truths for Landing the Very Best Black Man.

Summary: TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIGHT....
Review: I already knew this book was going to be funny, but I didn't expect it to be hilarious! Honestly, I wouldn't think it was funny if I was one of these women...but I'm not...so I loved it! It was an entertaining read and brutally honest. Mr. Baisden deserves a pat on the back for telling it like it is. The story about Patrick was the best of them all!
