Rating: Summary: A SUPER suspense thriller! Review: I never have taken the time to write a review, but I felt I HAD to after reading The Kokopelli Theory. What a fascinating premise! The book spins a wonderful suspense involving the origins of the deadly Hepatitus C virus. It was all very convincing, though I know it is fiction. There were excellent twists that made this one of the best reads I've had in ages. This book kept me reading and reading until I finished--In a single sitting! A friend recommended it to me, knowing I loved this genre, and I've been spreading the word ever since. Hard to believe this is Kevin Correa's first novel. He reads like a very seasoned author. I've been checking the listings, hoping for a second book! Thank you Mr. Correa for such a fantastic ride.
Rating: Summary: Read this book!!! Review: I picked up The Kokopelli Theory one evening and started reading - before I knew it, it was 3am. Correa's writing captures you and drives your imagination wild. We can only hope he's working on another book, I can hardly wait...
Rating: Summary: Best Read in a Long Time Review: I really enjoyed this novel. I only hope there is a sequel in the works!
Rating: Summary: Eager Awaiting Mr. Correa's Follow-up Review: If Kokopelli Theory is any indication of his talents, here's to hoping that Kevin Correa has a long career as a fiction writer ahead of him. His first novel is about as tight, well thought out, plausible and just plain exciting as I have read in years. Intrigue, international cover-ups, murder, you name it. This is a page turner in the truest sense.
Rating: Summary: Two thumbs up! Review: The Kokopelli Theory held me in suspense from the first page to the last. This was by far the best medical thriller I have read to date. I found the characters to be captivating, the plot fast-paced, and the topic horrifyingly realistic! I highly recommend this book.
Rating: Summary: Move Over Crichton! Review: The Kokopelli Theory is one of the best thrillers I've read. If you like Crichton or Patterson, you'll love Correa. He blends fact and fiction into an incredible, fast paced read. The Kokopelli Theory has everything: high-level corruption, contagious disease, bizarre rituals and shady conspiracies. The genious in Correa's writing is that he makes it all so believable. I kept finding myself saying, "Did that really happen?" From the masterful first chapter to the pay-off packed ending, you'll find this book hard to put down!
Rating: Summary: Could not put this book down! Review: This book centers on Sean Graham, a graduate student who while doing some research discovers some inconsistencies regarding the initial spread of Hepatitis C. Sean begins to dig deeper and finds that there are powerful people that would prefer he let sleeping dogs lie. However, Sean is not happy until he finds the truth--and its quite surprising when the story unfolds. This book was so interesting I could not put it down--and when I did, I found myself thinking about it until I could begin reading again. If you like mysteries/thrillers with a public health twist- this is the book for you!!
