Summary: Charm book of the Century
Review: The book gave me a feeling like know other. There were so much information and charms. Plus it had charms and spells for ceremonies of the year, it had materials of wisdom, it had little amulets in it to use called "insprerations of power," and last but not least hundreds of charms. I think that Worth is a wise women and knows a lot about magic charms.

Review: There is a pretty satisfying section on herbs and lotions in this book,but the spells don't please me.Some are against my morals,yet some are in a strange language I can't even understand,as an earlier reader had said.This book has magickal
symbols and their uses,but I'm sure any reader would like to know their origins.I'm not comfortable with the spells and symbols,but I think the herbal information is quite useful.

Summary: Great Book, Addicting!
Review: This is a Great Book! My friend and I had always been interested in Magick. Well one day we were in a store and we picked up this book...well with in two minutes we were addicted. We both wanted to get, but were too chicken. The next day she went back and got it and I still haven't gotten it. I love to borrow it and it has wonderful material. If you find it, it's a must have!

Review: This is one of the greatest books, it was the first book I owned on the subject and it gave me a beginers look into this wonderfull world. I would recomend this book for people new to the Craft and old. Blessed be.

Review: This was my first spell book and by far the worst. It had NO spells in it, only charms. And the material needed to make the charms were extrememly hard to find. It did have some good talismans on it though.

Summary: A unique and beautiful grimoire of magical poetics
Review: Valerie Worth's prose and poetry as shown in this book evince an unusual quality and delicately-wrought workmanship - the atmospheric spells are her own unique compositions but seem to be inspired by a range of influences from European and American folk-sorcery to Medieval and Graeco-Egyptian Magic: the text is evocative indeed and i must say that the book is a real treat to the connoisseur of magical poetics. It's the apparent simplicity of her voice which makes for an ambience of authenticity and mystery and her finely-honed ability to conjure beautiful imagery via the music of the words. The seasonal rites are quite exquisite, delectable compositions, wonderfully-crafted and strange ceremonial dramas. This is a unique and beautiful little grimoire - the poet's lightness of touch captures something of that rare and elusive shimmer of genuine Magic which is experienced only by starlight and candlelight.
