Review: alright i am wiccan and i enjoyed this book,because i am smart enough to realize not all witches are wiccan, well i liked this book. i only gave it three stars is because it had some foreign language in some of the charms and alot of charms i dont have the stuff to make. the only charm i found offensive was the one where u had to kill a beetle. yes there was one in there with a dead fly,but the fly is already dead,so whats the big deal. i really enjoyed the first part the herbal section. and also if something in here calls for something you dont approve substitute something else for it. and if some charms in here offend you dont them.

Summary: Provocative and Informative
Review: As someone who usually writes their own spells, I picked up this book warily, but am so glad I did! Unlike some of the previous reviews, I believe this book has EVERYTHING to do with witchcraft AND wicca. Some of the spells, like those for revenge, are not ones that Wiccans might do per se, but it is nevertheless interesting information.Creating powerful talismans and amulets, and working useful spells is what this book is all about. Pick it up and see for yourself!

Summary: Cute and Helpful
Review: Being a Witch and not Wiccan it is not easy to find reading material that is not heavily slanted towards Wiccans. This book had some very interesting information on various plants and herbs as well as talismens and charms. For those that aren't looking for any "deep" learning and just want some interesting facts on plants and miscellaneous spells. I liked this book quite a bit and would recommend it to any Witch who grows weary of looking for a book with no reference to Wicca.

Summary: If you have a masters in old english
Review: Granted that you need a clear mind to perform magick (even illusions). Everyone knows that you need to be focused and so perhaps that is why the book is written in such dreadful dialect. Thrice a dozen charms for example - why doesn't it just say 36 charms. It'd be a lot easier. It seems that in order to gain a sence of mysticism old english was used which just confuses the reader. Having said that the charms work surprisingly well. There are stupid things like "to summon the dead" or "to waste another's wealth" which are dangerous and pointless (rule of three) but I tried the protection charm when i went to france in the ferry. The Sea was VERY stormy and people were being sick everywhere but I was fine. I guess I'd say that it worked.

Review: I am just a beginner and I borrowed it from a friend and loved it. Sure some of the herbs are hard to find but the spells are so simple even the youngest beginner could understand them. I recommend this book 100% to anyone into herbal potions and spells. blessed be

Review: I am new in this art of spells and magic. This book was definately worth getting. I have delved into herbs and alchemy, which is my favorite. Heck, This book tells the perfect charms. Just remember, using any revenge spells sends your soul to an evil wasteland.
