Summary: I've lost 18 pounds with 8 minutes and still going!
Review: This book has changed my life. It has been two years since I had my third child and the weight just wasn't coming off! I'm a teacher and mother of three and thought I didn't have the time nor energy. Ten weeks a go I started getting up 15 minutes earlier each morning to do my 8 minute routine!

His comments are SO motivating! I can see myself thin! The first battle is catching the vision and he gives you the vision with his motivational passages each day. The exercises are great! I have more energy, feel better and have gone from a size 16 to a 12.

I've tried so much! This is the real thing! I can't recommend this book enough. The people who criticize this book may have never sincerely followed the book. Incredible!

Summary: Nice reading but not practical
Review: I found the information in this book to be interesting and somewhat useful reading. I have incorporated flax seed oil into my diet. Other than that, the exercises are good, but the diet is too hard to follow because it does not use common things you'll easily have in your kitchen. The web site is a total waste! I contacted them for help and/or menu substitution items, and never heard from them. I wouldn't recommend this book for someone looking for a simple program to follow to loose and maintain weight.

Summary: Worked GREAT for me!
Review: I have been trying to shed 20 pounds for several years and had no real success. I've been following Jorge's program for 3 months now and have lost 10 pounds. It's coming off slowly, but I'm confident that it will stay off! I recommend this book!

Summary: just try it
Review: I have been telling myself that I dont have time, or the energy to transform my unhealthy body to a healthy body. After reading over this book I was able to see that I made excuses for not exercising out of the fear that I wouldnt succeed. After getting through the first week, I can now see that it's not only possible that I will lose weight and tone my body, but that I am actually doing the exercises and eating the foods proper for nutrition and this will be a successful venture.

Summary: Kickstart
Review: I bought this book with the hopes of kickstarting a dietary change. This book gave me what I wanted. At the end of the first week, I had lost 4 pounds, and had begun a fitness routine what was doable. I have very little time to spare and spending many hours at a gym is out of the question at this time of my life. I don't expect I will only spend 8 minutes in the morning excersing for the rest of my life, but for now, it is exactly what I need. I have the tendency to over things, then fall out in exhaustion. This keeps me on track.

Summary: NOTHING NEW HERE ~ Sound ideas, but old news ~ Waste of $$$
Review: I turned to this book for help losing the "last 10 pounds" and found it to be a waste of time. Cruise's plan involves some simple strength training and - SURPRISE ! - sensible eating. Not exactly new concepts. And the eating plan is absurdly detailed and restrictive, involving checking off "boxes" on "eating cards." Completely unrealistic and impractical for anyone with a real life. Cruise has many passionate followers, and some success stories - but don't think for a minute that the title is an accurate description of the plan. Here's the deal: Eat sensibly, do some kind of cardio activity three times a week, then toss in some simple weight training. THERE!! You just saved the price of the book.

Summary: Don't buy
Review: I was extremely disappointed in this book. There is a guarantee that you will lose 2 lbs a week. I followed the program for 3 weeks and lost no weight. When I attempted to find out about the 'guarantee' no one responds to my inquiries. Many other workouts would provide results - this one didn't and it doesn't follow up on its guarantee.

Summary: Easy to Follow
Review: I'm an active 70-year old and find that Cruise's diet and strength training system works perfectly for me. I like that the weight comes off at a healthy rate (not overnight). The book is easy and interesting to follow. Since I only wanted to drop 11 pounds, I hope to be finished at the end of 28 days, but will continue the exercises and a modified food plan. It's the only way to stay fit and healthy.

Summary: No magic, you have to make it work
Review: I've completed 2 weeks of Jorge's program and have lost 6 pounds. I'm committed. It's been fairly easy since his book offers great motivation ideas, the eating program, and the simple weight training exercises. I like that it's written as a workbook, 28 days worth. I don't like that once you've completed it, you have to repeat the same 28 days again and again. But it's up to you. This is no magic pill.
Don't buy this book if you hope to get it and get slim by just doing the exercises.
Do buy this book if you've tried everything else and are looking for a solid eating program with light exercise and great support by Jorge's writing. The on-line "buddies" have been pretty incredible too.

Summary: This will change your life!
Review: I am 43 years old and about 25 lbs. overweight. I felt lethargic.I bought this book because I wanted to know what to do EACH DAY to get to my goal. This book lays it right out for you. You will have a plan right there in front of you. It is a 28-day plan and I am on my 15th day. I have lost 5 lbs. so far. This is a plan that works!!
