Summary: Great Program! Lost 15lbs..working on 30!
Review: This program is great! Jorge explains things easy and clearly. I do not usually write these reviews, but I was so impressed with this weight loss program (I am very skeptical and do not usually like most weight loss programs) that I had to share with you all how great it really is. The 8 minutes of strenght training exercises are simple and great for a beginner, like me, or someone more advanced, like my daughter. She does the exercises with me, just with higher weights. The eating program is great for people on the go and do not want to have to do a lot of calculating. It is all done for you. You just have to check of what you eat each day in an easy eating card system. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to lose weight (for good this time) and become more healthy! Jorge also has a great website to support the book.

Summary: READ THIS BOOK if you want to lose weight and keep it off!
Review: This book will inspire you, and teach you how to lose weight without being hungry, feeling deprived or taking up all your free time exercising. You will get step by step instruction and motivation from an author who really cares about his readers. I say this because I lost over 40 lbs over a 4 month period and have kept if off for over a year now. I was lucky enough to get a pre-release copy of this book. If you are really ready to change your life for the better and one of the areas you want to change is your eating lifestyle and become healthy do not wait any longer.

Review: This is a totally simplistic approach to exercise. Anyone who has ever worked out before will be bored to tears. The program is amateurish and poorly conceived. There are many better choices on the market.

Summary: Easy, Clear, Concise, and Encouraging
Review: I just finished reading this book and well, it's fabulous!!! Jorge's "make it plain" coaching style really helps for someone like me who has little time for nonsense. The exercise program, meal plan, and the Wake Up Talks are very clear, concise, and takes the guesswork out of trying to lose weight safely. I started the plan today and for the first time in my adult life, I didn't have a snack between meals. I mean I actually felt satisfied with smaller servings of food. Jorge encourages you to eat FATS to lose weight. But we are not talking any old fats. We're talking flax oil, olive oil, avocados, almonds, peanut butter (in small servings). These fats, esp. flax oil acts as a natural appetite suppressant and lets you go longer without snacking. I also enjoyed exercise routine, which required only minimal equipment (dumbbells, chair, and mat) and the Wake Up Talk/Journal helped me focus before I got started on the plan. It is very do-able for busy people (I'm a full time Ph.D. student who works also works 30 hours a week) who want to lose weight but not be consumed with counting calories or huffing and puffing in a step class. Worth every penny!!!

Summary: Finally weight loss book you cannot say "NO" to!
Review: Jorge Cruise's Book and Tapes, "8 Minutes in the Morning" I found was simple enough weight loss program that you could actually have hope that you could follow through with the exercises and food plans.

I lost 7 lbs. my first week and 1.5 lbs. the second week and this program made be a believer, that I can go the distance and reach my goal weight.

He makes it so simple and so easy, that with just a little effort and a few minutes each day you can succeed.

My biggest problem has always been no motivation for exercise and every diet became my last meal. So each year, I just became heavier and heavier. I have learned through Jorge's book how to look at food and how to deal with food. There are no bad foods according to Jorge, so now I have no need for those last meal diets...I just need to choose quality and quanity. He has also made exercise so attainable that I have no excuse not to do it.

In just 2 weeks I feel so confident with Jorge's exercise and food outline that it has already become part of my daily life.

I recommend you not only read this book, but do the exercises, follow the food plan and do his assignments. The gain you will have from this is the reward of knowing you finally found something you can stay with and succeed with for the rest of your life...the loss is your body fat and getting to your ideal body weight.

Summary: HOORAY FOR JORGE!
Review: Jorge Cruise fully delivers in this phenomenal book of practical and EASY weight-loss guidelines! The book is written in a very "down-to-earth" format which makes it extremely easy to read and understand. (This is an important feature, because the simpler the layout, the more likely that people will actually follow the program.) And the program is easy! All you need is some dumbbells, a towel, a mat, and a chair - along with a real desire to change your body - and Jorge has provided everything else to ensure your success!

I really like how Jorge "breaks everything down" for the reader. He has included very clear pictures of each exercise, along with the written instructions; he has also provided a wealth of information that explains what types of fat are NEEDED in the body and how to get them; and the beginning of his book contains some very personal information on his family which inspired him to investigate in the weight-loss process.

Need more incentive to purchase this book? Well, I personally received my copy a little over a week ago and immediately began to implement Jorge's program and - already - I have lost a total of 7 pounds! Needless to say, I am very excited by my progress. So, If you are serious about losing the weight and improving the shape of your body, then I STRONGLY recommend that you buy Jorge Cruise's "8MM" book...you'll be glad you did!

Summary: I think this is a great workout/healthy living plan!
Review: This book caught my life because of the title of only having to workout for 8 min and the food was not restricting. I love this book. It really helped me lose weight last year...but you have to stick with some activity if you ever steer from teh book as if you don't you will be sorry those pounds will come right back. But, it is healthy and resonable workout. You do two moves a day with four sets of 12 and it may actually take more than 8 min but Jorge's thoughts are the better you get the faster they go. They are not hard moves but they do work your muscles. I also liked the eating plan where I could eat what I liked just in moderate amounts. Over-all this book is a wonderful investment. I would recommend this with Leslie Sansone's videos as if you have problems getting and staying motivated these are two great products that will help you lose weight and stick with a program!
