Rating: 5 stars
Summary: a touching, captivating novel!
Review: Lurlene McDaniel captures the life of a teenager suffering from countless medical traumas perfectly. I enjoyed the book very much, and like all of Lurlene's other books, couldn't put it down until i'd finished it and even then, couldn't stop thinking about it. Although i feel bad for Dawn and what she has gone through from the time that she found out she had Leukemia when she was thirteen to her stroke at age seventeen, i very much admire her courage and determination. Not many people would have the same positive, optimistic outlook as Dawn, had they been in a situatioin half as depressing. All die-heart Lurlene McDaniel fans, don't miss this amazing book!

Summary: One of the best Lurlene McDaniel books
Review: The fifth book in the Dawn Rochelle series definitely does not disappoint. After battling leukemia since the age of thirteen, Dawn Rochelle has tried to return her life back to normal, one way by going to school. When Dawn has numb feelings in her hands, she doesn't pay any attention, not thinking of it as a problem. One day, in the school cafeteria, she experiences another spasm and collapses. When taken to the hospital, she and her family find out that she had a stroke. Dawn is devastated; she has to learn to talk, eat, dress, and all of the easy things that took no attention in doing. She continues with schoolwork at home, determined to graduate with the rest of her class. Dawn's determination finally pays off and she experiences what it's like to live again. This was an incredible book, a compliment to the other novels in the series. Definitely read this and the other four for a very touching and inspiring story.

Summary: A very touching book added to a great series
Review: This book is another book in the Dawn series by Lurlene McDaniel. This book talks about Dawn and she is geting ready to graduate, but then she has a stroke which leaves her left side unuseable. She is very upset and starts to give up hope. Then a little push from a very very best friend is all she needs to start back up again and give it her all. This series is one that will never be forgotten. McDaniel protrays her characters like nothing i have ever seen! If you have not read this book or any of the others, I suggest that you hurry up and read this. If you have not read any of the other Dawn books, you probably should, but McDaniel is the kind of author were if you have not read like the first one, then you are not totally lost, but it would be good if you did-to clear up somethings. This book is by far the best one in the series. It talks about courage, will, and shows the troubles Dawn goes through. You will be touched by this book-stop sitting there reading this and go read it for yourself. You will find it is worth your time.

Summary: dawn thinks maybe the universe has given up tortuing her...
Review: this book is really good, exept you have to wonder, will dawn's life ever be normal? i mean, she gets lukemia, sandy dies, she gets a bone marrow transplant, marlee dies, she almost has a rejection to the bone marrow transplant, then, just when you think the universe has given dawn a break, she has a stroke. i know these books are about things that you can't change, but reading about dawns stroke was as bad as when mark died in 'till death do us part'. but, desptie dawns new unlucky change of events, she doesn't give up and the book gives a new meaning to the phrase 'how much can you handle?'. i look forward to future books.

Summary: To Live Again
Review: This book tells what happens to Dawn Rochelle. But to understand this they should read Dawn Rochelle Four Novels. What her principal says, at her high school gradution sums it up, "At 13, she got luekemia. Then she went into remission. But she came out of it. At 14, she had a bone marrow transplant, that put it back in remission. At 17, she had a stroke. Now she is standing before you all, healthy." This is a great book for everyone.

Summary: One of the best Lurlene McDaniel books
Review: To live again was a wonderful book. The Dawn Rochelle Novels were my favorite I would love to have her come out with another one. I just bought this book yesterday and I Could not put it down, I was hoping that the book would last me awhile so I don't have to find another book, but my hands and eyes had different plans. My favorite part of the book would have to be when she told Tasha that it wasn't her fault and told her about Sandy Chandler. This book was the best!
