Rating: Summary: motivational emphasis Review: Fundamentally a motivational book with the structure of a calendar. Designed to push and encourage for that 90 day period it takes to form a new better habit. Like walking. Like exercise. Each day introduces a new idea, 2 pages per day of nice, simple, straightforward information. Not a hard read at all, but after it is over you learned something, but better yet may now find walking a habit. Good beginner book.
Rating: Summary: Working for me! Review: I bought this book needing to get fit and loose some weight after nearly 3 months in bed with a back problem. I am now a little more than halfway through it and it is working well. Combined witha healthy diet I am losing weight. The exercise is also giving me more strength and stamina for my everyday life. I can now go out for a day with my husband without having to call a half after a couple of hours and be taken home. Worth twice the price!

Rating: Summary: From a former couch potato ... Review: The book by Mark Fenton and Seth Bauer was the first one to show me that I didn't have to be an athlete to start walking. Their approach is incredibly convincing: all you need is your own body and 10 daily minutes to walk yourself to successful fitness. I have been doing just that for almost a month now, and I feel much better already.
Rating: Summary: Walking doesn't get any better then this! Review: This book has helped motivate and educate me on the aspects of fitness through walking. I highly suggest getting this book. This is the step into the right direction for a healthy long lasting life!
Rating: Summary: Not what I expected Review: This book is designed for the absolute beginner. It assumes you do no exercise, and gives you a daily goal/program every day for 90 days, gradually increasing both time and distance. As I am not a beginner, this book offered me very little.
Rating: Summary: EAT THE COUCH Review: This book made we want to eat the couch
Rating: Summary: super for the exercise challenged...! Review: This is a great book for those who want to start and stick with any type of walking program. It's also good for those who are sedetary and/or obese. I am not a beginner when it come to exercise, but walking was a little boring to me so I purchased this book as a motivational tool and now I absolutely enjoy walking. I would recommend this book for those of you who want to start a walking program for fitness or just for fun.
