Rating: 1 stars
Summary: Very little meat
Review: One in a series of "Ultimate Weight Training for (insert sport here)" books, Ultimate Weight Training for Hockey consists of about 10 pages of the most cursory explanation of the theories behind the program. The rest of the book is filled with pictures of various stretches and lifts. A bad attempt to mass market this series. Save yourself the money and get Tudor Bompa's or Peter Twist's books. They've actually trained high level hockey players.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: This book is a MUST-BUY for serious hockey players

Review: Use it in the summer - Use it in the winter -

Just get this book! It will have you in great shape for the season. I can 'check' much harder now, but more importantly I can skate faster, and my shots have more velocity. You'll see what i mean after a few weeks of following the hockey specific programs in this book.
