Rating: Summary: Something for everyone Review: This is a pretty good book.
Book covers several hundred excercises divided into
the categories related to what each excercise targets - improvements in speed, agility or quickness. There is also a set of chapters describing what
each of these (speed, agility, quickness) really mean in the sports context,
and what affects their development.
At the end of the book there is a training program, and there is also a speed, agility and quickness training program designed specifically for most of the popular sports (did not find cricket or polo).
I would recommend taking a look at this book - specially if you are competition minded, or if you are a coach.
I also think that book is relatively inexpensive for what you get.
Rating: Summary: Great help for improving base performance Review: We purchased the book a few weeks ago and since using the program my daughter is a new person. After learning the basic skills in each of the three categories: speed, agility and quickness, she has increased both her performance and attitude. She is working on her volleyball skills and is improving her reflexes. She really enjoys the drills. She has been practicing some of the rolls and moves even when she is not working out. The guidance is what she really needed and has really helped her athleticism.
