Summary: I'm already divorced from the book
Review: Book Reviewed: In the Palm of Your Hand: Practical Palmistry for Career and Relationship Success by Liz Gerstein

There's no way this book lives up to it's name, which is really disapointing. There's no real emphasis on the carrer or the relationships. This two subjects are poorly covered in just a small part near the book's ending and doesn't contain any meaningful information anyway.

The book doesn't contain a single palm print, only sketches of palms, but the real problem comes when the author starts refering to lines that aren't in the sketch, and then says "not shown" or "not pictured", that leaves me wondering, why weren't the palm prints put, in the first place, instead of the sketches? If the prints were badly readable then both pictures(sketch and print) should have been present.

Inspite of that, the book is well presented, is colorful and has a kind of fresh look to it, but lacks content and depth. There's a lot of blank spaces and pages that don't contain much information at all, and that could have been put to a better use.

As always there's way too much emphasis on hand and finger types. I felt that even that wasn't covered in a sistematic approach. And a almost complete disregard in explaing the meaning of the lines and markings (there's hardly any information on the sun/apollo line or even the fate/carrer line and relationship lines). So in regards to the information about carrer you get: 4 hand types, and then 4 examples for each hand type. For each of these 16 examples is given about 5 or 6 diferent carrer choices, BUT AREN'T EXPLAIN WHY!! What features of the hand are being used to make such assumptions are COMPLETELY disregarded.

Having in mind the scarce content of this book I can't help thinking that your should be better off buying something else.

Summary: Best Book Ever Read
Review: I originally purchased this book thinking it was another one of those books on what tricks you need in order to find a boyfriend or a girlfriend, but after reading it for the first time it is an amazing book. From page 1 to the last page, I found things in it that made me nod my head, underline it and say outloud 'yeah that is it exactly'. She points out the negative things people do to themselves and to each other whether it is through the words you use, how you treat yourself and others and what you need to do to change it. She gives you the tools for you to make your life exactly the way you want it to be and shows you how to take that little voice everyone has in their heads and turn it around so that it says positive things instead of all of the negative words you hear and try to shut out. If you are looking to start over, to find that love of your life (yourself) or even that someone special that will love you for who you are, then you have to buy this book. Definitely one of those can't put down books. You will change your life for the better. Buy it!!!

Summary: Reader From PA
Review: I thought this book was not interesting enough. I thought it would explain about attraction in a way I would understand, but instead it was more on the philosophical side as far as like attracts like, and the universal laws. It wasn't bad but it was nothing like I thought it would be.

Summary: NYC Review
Review: If you want to buy one book that sums it all up look no further. I've read many books on this topic but have to say, the author's simplistic yet profound statements not only tie all her ideas together so seamlessly but have tied up loose ends from other books I have read on similar topics. This is not a "love game" book with rules to follow. This is a book based on quantum physics and attraction. If you are sincerely interested in attracting love in your life I suggest you read this book. However, you may be surprised...if you read this book with honesty and the sincere willingness to get to the heart of "your" matter, you will not only attract love but an endless abundance of so many other beautiful things. You will see yourself and others in a different way; you will begin to understand; a light bulb will go off, things will start to make sense and everything will gently start falling into place.
Thank you Ms. Taylor.

Summary: Excellent reading
Review: This book has a lot to offer. It is well-written and easy to understand, not like some other self-help books. Very much recommended as a gift or for personal use. This book will be the talk around the water cooler for a long time to come.

Summary: "Secrets of Attraction"
Review: This book is awesome. I have already purchased two more as gifts for friends who are having a hard time attracting loving partners. The author does not talk down to her audience by speaking in platitudes or generalizations. She cuts to the heart of the matter using quantum physics and factual data to shed light on exactly what attraction is. The author leads the reader to focus on what really matters in life. LOVE! This book is not just about finding a date for Saturday night...the author takes us on a step-by-step journey and teaches us HOW to love purely and completely, thus setting off a chain-reaction of attracting good things/good people into our lives. After just a few weeks of implementing the principles that Ms. Taylor outlines, I can honestly say that my life has been changed forever. A "must read" for those who have "read them all"!!!
