Summary: Passionate Presence
Review: I have been involved in spiritual and human development practices and disciplines as a student and teacher for over forty years and Catherine Ingrams Book, Passionate Presence, is a masterpiece.

It is obvious she has been rewarded by divine inspiration as a result of her spiritual quest for her gift to convey her insights and experience shines brightly in her writings. It is no easy task to try and communicate the essence of the ineffable such that the reader goes away, or rather is left with the undeniable fragrance of their true self. Again and again this is precisely what I experienced in Passionate Presence. Page after page I was moved, sometimes to tears, at the truth and simplicity of her message.

The owners of Amazon should be honored and grateful to be offering such a fine piece of work. Sincerely James N. Hurley

Summary: Beautiful, poetic and transformative!
Review: I have read and re-read Catherine Ingram's beautiful book. There is a tangible "passionate presence" on every page as Catherine describes the qualities of awakened awarness with grace and wit utilizing stories that illustrate those attributes we all share at our deepest core. This is a very readable book with a depth between the lines that leads the reader to an insight into the beauty of the SELF. I hightly recommend this book to anyone who wants to believe in that goodness that is at the heart of all.

Summary: passionate presence speaks
Review: I really enjoyed reading catherine ingram's new book. Her sincerity, honesty, and love shine through. It is such a relief to just to have a report from 'awakened awareness' rather than something trying to fix you or teach you something. She simply reports from her life and the teaching somehow soaks in from example. It is a refreshing view of the awakening process and she clearly debunks some of the old belief structures that have sprung up in my years of being interested in this topic. So I am thankful for that.

Summary: Being at peace is a matter of realization
Review: If you have a: "... growing interest in finding meaning that is not based in beliefs or traditions, but instead relies purely on direct experience", then this book is for you. It offers compelling thoughts on how to have a loving, joyful life. What is really great is that you already have all you need for this right now. It is simply a matter of realization.

I can't say it better than Ms. Ingram: "There is a story about a little fish who swims up to his older and wiser fish friend and says, "You go on and on about water. I have been searching for it everywhere and it is nowhere to be found. I have studied all the texts, practiced and trained diligently, and met with those who have known it, but it has eluded me." The wise old fish says, "Yes, dear. As I always tell you, not only are you swimming in it right now but you are also composed of it." The little fish shakes his head in frustration and swims away, saying, "Maybe someday I will find it. ""

I felt that I gained a sense of peace and was resting in the "now" as I read this book. I highly recommend it.

Summary: Spirituality made joyous, accessible
Review: If you only want to purchase one book on awakened spirituality, "Passionate Presence" has it all. Catherine Ingram is not only an enlightened being, she's an articulate journalist and a wonderful writer. I'm still marvelling in her use of verbs! She cuts to the chase, weaving her own experiences into the ideas of spirituality that have enriched her life. This book puts the standard of self-help writing up to new highs. As a fellow writer, I appreciate Ingram more than I can say.

Summary: Priceless
Review: Many spiritual books have given me great food for thought; this one has actually brought major shifts in my perception. It has taken me a large step forward in my presence and in the way I deal with people, which was immediately noticed by my coworkers. I don't want to get too specific and spoil the effect of a fresh reading, but do get this book. It's one of my top three spiritual books, along with *The Power of Now* by Eckhart Tolle, and *Loving What Is* by Byron Katie.
