Summary: True Tantra.
Review: A fabulous step by step guide to Tantra that lifts you up and takes you deep inside yourself. A beautiful journey of discovery with plenty of exercices and Tantric meditation methods to practice. Good for experienced Tantra adepts and inexperienced beginners. Generally pleasant to read with many lovely color illustrations.

Review: As an avid Tantra reader and follower of Eastern philosophies I was delightfully surprised by the quality of the illustrations, pictures and approach to Tantra in this book. It is a must have for anyone remotely interested in this fantastic Art.

Summary: Terminology of eastern spritiual mysticism -- does it help?
Review: One of the problems with well-meaning authors and reviewers alike who fill their thoughts with eastern spiritual terminology is that these concepts are necessarily personal and are, as a result, vague to meaningless when written to the general public. The authors speak as though it were obvious to everyone what is meant by such phrases as "White Sexual Magic", "the secret golden thread" (if it's a secret, how are they talking about it as though everyone knew the contents of that "secret"?), "Kundalini energy", etc... The end result is that it appears these authors want us to learn a whole different way of looking at the world, new concepts, and embrace a new terminology before we can even begin to understand how to engage in fantastic love-making. Rather than truly enlightening people, the insistence on using vague terms and encasing the whole thing in eastern mystical spirituality does more to confuse people and make the whole thing generally impractical.
Yes, love-making is so much more than the sexual act, but it doesn't help to start off by telling everyone how they've been led astray by western values and how the "eastern sages" really know best.

Review: So much of humanity is desperately yearning to feel God. Tired of so much hostility and materialism, we have all turned with an air of sincere curiosity towards the canon of 'new age' literature. But amazingly, even this canon has become a marketplace for the peddlars; now the Soul has become a slogan, and sex its tempting banner.
Alas, a suffering humanity longs to know God, and this is the help they get!...their hearts are in the right place, but they don't know where to look...who to trust...
This book claims to teach Tantra but it deviates - it does not teach the authentic White Sexual Magic but something far inferior. Those seeking a truly beautiful connection with their spouse will not attain it through the techniques taught in this book, because this book is not spiritually beautiful.
White sexual magic is something totally sacred and very intense. It is the secret golden thread upon which the two jewels, of Man and Woman, rest in Perfect Luminosity and Love. For practical information about the true White sexual magic, the authentic and miraculous practise of Alchemy, read the book entitled "The Perfect Matrimony" by Samael Aun Weor, available here on Amazon.com or at gnosis-usa.com.

Summary: Right on, man!
Review: Some folks, those of the "more asian than thou" clan, have said that this book (in a nutshell) isn't "authentic" enough. This basically means that the book is too lucid and simple! These folks only put thier "seal of approval" on texts which make heavy use of Sanskrit, Tibetan, and Chinese terms, and delineate practices only through the spectrum of 5,000 year old Sutras. This is unfortunate, because this book is an excellent introduction to Tantra and the spiritual dimension of lovemaking.
I recommend this book for those of you who might be at an impasse with your spouse or might otherwise be struggling with your spirituality. Those who are "hung up" about sex might also find liberation in the book. My advice is to BUYU it, and make up your own mind.

Review: This book has much hidden depth and we found profound meditations.We are a couple who married for the "wrong" reasons after knowing each other 3 weeks and now 4 years later have a son and a respectful and loving relationship. Tantra and recently this book have allowed love and a deep connection between us to flourish. We are proof that soul mates can come about by concious exercises such as the ones in this wonderful book and not through the flimsy and romantic belief that there is "one" special person out there...

Summary: Great Idea - But Backwards
Review: This books has a great concept of how tantric love can deepen a relationship but in reality the deepest love is when you start off as friends, then move to soul mates and then become lovers. Too many couples become lovers right away and that prevents true insights and emotions to develop within the relationship.
A great book I just finished is The RoMANtic's Guide by Michael Webb. Really good tips on everyday romance.
