Summary: Great book! Original and simple way to relax...
Review: Thanks to the author, finally a simple way to relax on the GO. Especially loved the 'Email meditation' and 'Yoga in bed' section. Have been randomly flicking pages, also have been following the 'Quick help guide' at the front. Illustrations are very hip...fun. Anyways enjoy! Monique

Summary: Fellow desk jockeys -- this book is for us!
Review: The first time you open and use Darrin Zeer's "Office Yoga" this book will earn spot on your desk top. You will want to keep it where you can grab it easily. It's as entertaining and fun to read as it is helpful. Turn to any page and you'll find ways to quickly relieve stress and ease muscle tightness by breathing deeply and stretching your muscles -- as you sit or stand at your desk! If your legs, back, neck or shoulders feel cramped or sore at the end of your office workday, Office Yoga will teach you to use the free minutes here and there to stretch and relax while you work. Whether you're a couch potato or a gym rat or somewhere in between -- Office Yoga will help keep the knots out of your muscles.

Summary: Fun and easy primer
Review: This book has simple and easy explanations of basic yoga poses. One thing I really like about it is that the illustrations are easy to understand and the descriptions are easy to read.

The suggestions it offers are entirely do-able without embarressment for the office worker. I want to use them at my job as an RN.

Everything is also very upbeat. Another use would be a classroom situation between activities, etc. What kid would not want to be a human basketball net for a few minutes.

Get this book, have fun, and feel better!!!

Summary: You can do Yoga at work
Review: This book is a great light introduction to Yoga. It breaks up activities for morning, work and after work. The work activities are not to difficult, time consuming or attention getting.

Summary: Simplistic not simple
Review: This book should be entitled Very Simple Yoga for Very Simple People. Open any popular magazine in the last twenty years, and you'll find this same stuff over and over again : neck rolls,"natural face lift"(??!!)...As far as the inspirational quotes ("Better late than never",Mess can equal stress")I find them more suitable for kindergarten cliches. I rated this book two stars because of its nice, pleasant (albeit unsophisticated) graphics and low price. It would be suitable for a gag gift.

Summary: Adorable, useful
Review: This is a very cute book with humorous drawings and pithy advice for the day-to-day grind. It does not purport to be an ultra-serious book about yoga and one should not approach it that way. It is very easy to read, to follow and to appreciate. An excellent office companion and possibly the perfect gift for your stressed-out officemates!
