Summary: Witty and Refreshing
Review: The person from Durham clearly missed the point of this book. Certainly, Dr. Seuss did not set out to write specifically about "Equality and Justice, "Diversity," or "Activism," but he didn't have to! (Mmm...but upon deeper thought, I think he *did* set out to write about these very issues!)

This is a great little compilation, and doesn't feel forced or faked or "context-less" at all. If you are upset and if you find this particular book to be simply a marketing ploy, then you're not heeding the Good Doctor: "So be sure when you step. Step with care and great tact, and remember that Life's A Great Balancing Act."

Certainly, I'll buy books by Dr. Seuss. But I'll buy this one, too, several times.

Summary: A Great little Book!
Review: This is a wonderful book for any die-hard Seuss fan or just about anyone else. It's clever and cute, but I just wish it were longer! They need to make a volume two!

Summary: This "Book" is about 50 cents worth of Dr. Seuss...
Review: This is not a critique of Dr. Seuss, nor a bash of his works... BUT... REALLY... It's almost like the few pages of this tiny book get lost between the covers. You can read and digest what little has been printed in this book in less than 2 minutes(even if you're not the fastest reader!). Considering the wealth of writings of Dr. Seuss, please don't waste your time with this pitiful excuse for a publication. Just buy the books... you'll get a LOT more bang for your buck!

Summary: Nice little pick-me-up...
Review: Yes, the pun is intended. This book is little--quitelittle--and very easy to pick up. It fits perfectly in your bag, pocket, coat, whatever. Whenever you're feeling down and need a pick up, just pick *it* up. Although Dr. Seuss is considered a childrens' author, I admire his work because of it's inventiveness, wonderful cadence, and delightful wackiness. When I'm feeling down I know Dr. Seuss has the prescrpition to make me grin again. This book is a pick-me-up that won't let you down. Happy reading!

Summary: Thank you, "Mrs." Seuss!
Review: Your husband's gift to the world lives on and I am delighted that you are following his steps... what a contribution! This is a little book with a big heart full of the doctor's important words and messages quoted from his 44 children's (and adult's) books. This little treasure sits on my coffee table and occasionally pops into my purse to go with me wherever I'm off to and make sure I get my dosage of the Doc's prescription whenever and where ever needed. Rx Dr. Suess' philosophy gives positive results guaranteed with no side effects with the exception of occasional excessive bright smiles.
