Rating: Summary: Good, not great Review: Carol Adrienne is a pretty good writer. I was interested in her life story, but I couldn't particularly relate to it. I wanted more actual ideas and theory and things I could do to help me, and less focus on her story. Some of the activities were thought provoking and rewarding. She also had some good resources listed in the footnotes. No bibliography, however, which was frustrating. A bibliography would've made it faster to find the particular resources that I was looking for in terms of my future reading. I think that people who enjoyed the Celestine Prophecy (which I haven't read) may like this book. It wasn't particularly what I was looking for, although it wasn't awful by any means.
Rating: Summary: A great book - a self-help masterpiece Review: Carol is one of the most easily-read and accessable writers in the self-help and spirituality area. This book is a wonderful guide through the thicket of life.
Rating: Summary: Excellent, excellent book! Review: Great stories and exercises to truly explore your purpose in choosing this life. Inspirational and practical. A must have for anyone working on their inner journey.
Rating: Summary: The story is individual Review: I am being absorbed with psychology especially enneagram, intuitiveness or synchronicity. So I brought this book to find more about those matters. After all, the author tells her own experience in the book. It is very individual and certainly not apply to everyone in general.
Rating: Summary: Reading this book has brought a sense of peace to my life Review: I am not quite finished reading this book, but the irony of it is that I am learning the meaning of "let go and let God". I know that is not the main theme of the book, but it has brought me to that conclusion and I think that is good. I have underlined a lot in this book and plan to go back a re-read those important points. One of my favorites is; "one usually comes to realize that by surrendering to a higher will, he or she was following a deeper signal than the ego's plan.
Rating: Summary: Reader From Reading, PA Review: I liked this book, but there were alot of things in it, that I just skipped over, that did not capture my interest. But all in all it was good enough for me to loan it to people who I thought would get some use of it, like when she describes about being in the void and a few other things. Not a bad book at all.
Rating: Summary: Finding Your Way Review: I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. It effectively explains and guides through anecdote without coming off as new age mumbo jumbo. I have been soul-searching for my own purpose in life, and Carol Adrienne explains how intuition and synchronicity really guides you toward what you should be doing. If you find you tend to have some idea of what you need/want to do, or you are often put in that path but you tend to ignore it, this book is for you. She hits the nail on the spiritual head about embracing the direction your spirit is driving you in, and that once you embrace it, everything will fall into place - once you set your mind to pursuing it, other things happen that supports that passion toward accomplishment. A great read and an inspiration.

Rating: Summary: Found my path Review: I used to pass off events in my life as chance or coincidence. Now, after reading Carol's book I know it was intuition and synchronicity I was experiencing. If you need help finding your place in this world this book is for you. I found this book in the suggested reading section of Rat Race Relaxer: Your Potential & The maze of Life.
Rating: Summary: thought provoking! Review: If you are on the oprah "band wagon" of simplified living, this book is not for you. It has a depth that surpasses anything that is sugar coated for the general public. If you are interested in a very straight forward easy to read and truly compelling book. This one is for you. For some it doesn't take oprah to tell us what to read, or how to raise our consciousness! I can't wait to read more from her. I have her numerology kit and wait in anticipation for the workbook, not that it is necessary, but I am sure it will be as "meaty" as her book.
