Summary: Wonderful Book
Review: This book teaches how to live a richer life. Many have attained this by near death experiences. Many of us have not had such experience but can learn from those who have if we choose to. I loved this book. I would also recommend the book An Encounter With A Prophet

Summary: A MUST read
Review: This is one of the most important books that I've read in the last 30 years. I purchased 22 copies of this book, so far. I am giving this book to everyone that I love or for whom I care. I find myself reading it over and over again. Each time that I read it, it holds some different meaning for me. The authors offer up the wisdom of those who have entered the zone of "dying soon". Each author in their own unique way urges the reader to listen to this wisdom now, while there is, hopefully, many more years to apply it. I love the brutal honesty of Kubler-Ross, who has in her later years, suffered a debilitating stroke. She is in recovery now but still angry about it. However, because the stroke did not kill her, she realizes that there are still many lessons for her to learn in this life. This book is not morbid but rather, uplifting. The advice and descriptions can suit anyone at any stage of their life. If you are fighting certain "battles" in your life, as we all are, you may find comfort knowing that you may not in this life learn all the lessons that you need to. As the authors put it so well, even the most terrible people in our lives can become our teachers.Whether you are just beginning your life experiences or you have had many, this book gives you so much to consider.

Summary: In agreement with all the 5 star reviews
Review: This is one of those most important books I've read in years, and I too have bought several more copies to distribute! What's different about this book, from another "self help" book (they are not in the same category actually) is that the authors are basically offering the perspective of life in the eyes of those who are dying or who have lost someone close to them. It's not so much opinion, it's retelling the patterns they hear time and time again from people with this common perspective. It's factual in that context. Other spiritual or self-help books tend to make a few assumptions (ie., Gary Zukov) that you first have to buy into, before gaining guidance or help from the content. This book stands out because it's just, true!

Summary: Important Reading!
Review: What a gift these two special people have given us. People facing their death face truth. To share these truths with the living is priceless. We can learn from the masters of life, those who have been down the road of living and of dying and have learned what is truly important in life. I wish everybody would read this book so that they can celebrate the lives that they have and make the most of every single day, because we don't really know how many we get. Today is here, let's celebrate! Thank you, Elisabeth and David!

Summary: I AM GOING TO GIVE THIS TO EVERYONE I KNOW AND LOVE
Review: While both these people are know for their work with death and dying, THIS BOOK IS ABOUT LIFE, LIVING AND LIVING WELL..... I used Mr. Kessler's book "THE NEEDS OF THE DYING" as my bible (if you will) while my father was transitioning and I dont think I would have done as well without it. This book has and will continue to aid me with my life, as well as those around me and I believe it will help me to live it more fully and with more appreciation...also to be more aware and conscious. I think if there is anyone whose life you wish to improve, this is the book to do it!
