Summary: Life Lessons
Review: My sister was given this book after her husband, of 25 years, died of lung cancer. She works afternoons and I work days so I spent the last 6 months sitting with him. October 16th will be 1 year since my honey of 14 years died. December 5th will be 2 years since I lost my mother. This book made me want to shout. I sent it to my mother's brother, who I admire for his knowledge and wisdom. He said he had heard Ms. Ross speak many years ago, and will read the book so we can discuss it. This book has done so much to ease my hurt. There are so many truthful statements. I know I will read it again.

Summary: A Book Deserving of its Title
Review: Ross and Kessler use their experience in working with people who are dying to glean life lessons for those who aren't. Organizing the book by life lessons--"Love", Anger", "Play", "Forgiveness", etc.--the authors share the lessons the dying teach us, reminding us what is important in life. Each life lesson stands on its own, but taken together, all of the life lessons in this book help the reader begin to create a more meaningful life for themselves and those they love.

I have been using this book as development for our church's Stephen Ministry, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. The Stephen Ministers all believe that they can be even better caregivers as a result of the thoughtful reading of this book.

"Life Lessons" is a gentle and inspiring book bent on helping the reader move to a more authentic life.

Summary: ?Life Lessons? is Worth to Read
Review: The book "Life Lesson" was written by Ross and David is one of my favorite books. It teaches us about the mysteries of life and living, so it is a very valuable book. The content of this book is very wide. It includes fourteen of life lessons such as the lesson of love, the lesson of anger, the lesson of forgive and so on. Because the author describes each lesson with vivid example and clear language, this book is easy to be read and understand. I already read this book twice, but I still want to read it again in order to each life lesson is very important for me. I think this book is worth everybody to read. I recommend this book to other people for three reasons: the events in the book are interesting and realistic, the author's point of view is brief and easy to understand and the lessons in the book can instruct us how to handle the issues that we are experiencing

Summary: Life Lessons by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross and David Kessler
Review: This book is the best book I've read in a very long time. It's for all of us who lose sight of what's important in our lives. It's about how to live life without regret, without fear, with inner peace, which, as someone currently going through a divorce and recently unemployed, I have to say, that's really tough sometimes. And, yet, this book helps us all see the true beauty in our everday lives, no matter how small. It helps you see that things happen for a reason, even if that reason is very difficult to figure out at times. So, if you think your life is good, this book will help you see that it's actually great; if you think your life is terrible, you hopefully will come away thinking that it's not so bad after all.

Summary: Life Lessons
Review: This book is the most profound book I have ever read!! I started reading it and "dog earred the pages" as I went along so that I could come back and read it again to "savor" the words. I kept on recognizing people in my life or my own life situations in the book. It is definately a great gift book, but only to someone who is ready to receive it. I bought it in paperback, but it's wonderful to have it in hardback as a keepsake! As a reader, if you are open enough to consider and really understand what the book is saying, you can lead a much fuller and deeper life with more meaning!

Summary: Living Life to the Fullest
Review: This book really helps one hone in on what is important in life. Death is the final opportunity for growth of the individual. This book is a helper to make sure that by the time you reach that final stage you have lived life to the fullest. I highly recommend it to all who want to make the most of their life.

Summary: Life Lessons???
Review: This book should be renamed: "Hot Cocoa For the Mortal Soul", as the authors provide the reader with a "feel good" guide to dying. The vignettes are varied and easy to follow. The book is easy to read, as well and both authors share their own intimate thoughts and feelings reagarding dying. Nonetheless they push an "easy believism"-that our fears and difficulties with death and dying are more imaginitive then real. This book denies that dealing with death is really troublesome and should serve those who believe in fairy tales and never never land.
