Summary: A beautiful gift of love for anyone you adore
Review: This is a very pretty square book about 6"x6" and not very thick. The cover is a reproduction of a Chinese screen. The contents are not specifically "Buddhist" meditations, though the source is from the Buddhist beliefs of the author Taro Gold.

The quotes are varied; from Plato to Dickens. On the left side pages are quotes; the right side pages have stories and essays by Gold, including tales from his childhood and how a Buddhist might treat the course of a romance. The essays really make you think--this is perhaps a new way to look at love and how one's own ego and beliefs play into a relationship.

This is a very pretty, but very inspirational book and would make a wonderful gift for anyone you love.

Summary: very well done
Review: This little book is a work of art, from its amazing cover to every detail insdide. The text is well written and the quotes from various sources sprinkled throughout are wondefrul and rare. The subtitle says it's a Buddhist guide to romantic happiness, but it is for everyone. Easy to understand and easy to adopt the messages in the book into anyone's life.

Summary: What's more important than love and happiness?
Review: We can come out of our ivy league institutions with our Masters, PHD's, but nobody teaches classes in love, except for Leo Buscaglia who wrote the book on love, called appropriately, Love. And nobody teaches us how to be happy, except for Michael Naselli who wrote the book, The Little Guide To Happiness. This book takes the best of both books, and with its own unique perspective, mainly a buddhist one, shows us the wisdoms of attaining what is most important. Well, to me, God is most important, but happiness and love come in a close second. And you don't have to be a buddhist either to learn from this work. It reaches all cultures.

Summary: Love it
Review: What Is Love is a beautiful, exquisite book. Taro Gold's insights, the book's colors, the layout, the 10 worlds pyramid, the incredible cover image, everything about it is lovely, lovely. How can anyone resist having a copy? I shall continue to give copies of What Is Love to my friends and loved ones every chance I get.
