Summary: Showing Our True Colors
Review: Mary Miscisin's book was outstanding! It was a fun and easy read, yet full of informative and interesting ideas about people and how and why they act the way they do. Having been an educator for many years, this is THE book I could have used long ago to better interact with my students and their parents. The book's content makes easy what Myers-Briggs tries to do. I would recommend it to anyone who has a desire to deal more effectively with children or adults.

Summary: Loved Mary's True Colors
Review: Mary's book gave me an insight to my own personality and a peek at some behaviors that are -- some "positive"/some "negative" -- just my personality. I gained self acceptance and it helped me interact better with co-workers, friends and my son's teachers. Her humor "lightens up" the dry personality tests of old and energized and motivated me!

Summary: Easy-to-Use Reference Guide
Review: Miscisin and company do an excellent job of taking a complex topic, stripped it of the "psycho-babble" that can turn you off (or at least give you a headache) and presented it in a fun, easy to use guide on different styles. As a Human Resources professional. As a person who just wants to know more about me and those with whom I interact, it's been of phenomenal help. Most helpful is the section on "when colors fade". It has provided insight into how to manage and assist people who are in the middle of burnout and are heading downhill personally and professionally. Read it because it is interesting and informative. Hang on to it because it is because you'll keep referring to it.

Summary: The BEST personallity book!
Review: Showing Your True Colors does best what every other personality book attempts. I found the book easy to read & understand. It gave me a very entertaining look at myself & the relationships in my life. The ideas were easy to apply to the way I relate to others. There were no complicated graphs or charts. No condescending psycho-babble. Just a lot of not so common sense that made me feel great about who I am & better about what I see in others. I highly recommend Showing Your True Colors.

Summary: excellent book
Review: When I conduct change management workshops one of the areas that attendees always value greatly is when we talk about different personalities and how they affect how we interact with others. Mary's book is one of the best books I have read that really takes complicated information and breaks it down into very manageable concepts. She includes real life stories and fun pictures to help the reader grasp the different styles. As a trainer I have many choices as to what personality assessment I use and I find that True Colors is one of easiest for people to understand and to use immediately to help them become better communicators. I recommend Mary's book to all of my classes and I recommend it to you.
