Summary: wonderful and compelling
Review: After reading many books by several empowering authors such as Betty Eadie, John Edward, Sylvia Browne, and Tiffany Snow, that I am still reading, my life has opened up to me in such a compelling and wonderful way. This new book is well written, and thought provoking. There are great transforming authors, who shift the consciousness of humankind in a way never known before, and have the courage to reveal their paranormal experiences, and there are hundreds of experiences in this book. "On Life after Death" is a compelling book to help you believe.

Summary: wonderful and compelling
Review: Dr. Kubler-Ross pretends to draw conclusions from here many interviews with those who've had near death experiences. In reality, she mentions some specific cases (over and over) and then begins preaching her philosophy. Her basic belief is that the physical body is essential useless and temporary and we will no longer need it. Also, after death everybody will be super smart and super happy. Typical new-age drivel.

Summary: "On Life After Death" is captivating, comforting
Review: Elisabeth Kubler-Ross relates her lessons learned at the bedsides of of literally hundreds of dying people in her touching book, "On Life After Death." This pioneer in the study of death and dying shares first-hand stories that simultaneously chill and comfort. Kubler-Ross makes it clear that none of us -- even if we die in the midst of the desert -- dies alone. She shows how we are greeted by loved ones who preceded us in death (even if by moments). I frequently give this comforting work to bereaved friends whose grief is tempered by Kubler-Ross'powerful words. I can't seem to keep a copy on hand -- they all go to those who need its message of hope.

Summary: A great book for healing, not just dying...
Review: I do work as an energetic healer. I have this book in my healing library and it is constantly on loan to various friends and clients going throw deaths and losses in their lives. It is probably the single most helpful book in the library in this regard. Easy to read and very human in her approach, Dr. Ross does a wonderful job of not only explaining death and loss from her perspective as a healer, but also experientially through years of observation and interacting with the dying. She gives hope and light with her compassionate and every-day approach to death as another part of living. I have to order a second copy to keep up with requests for this book. It is amazing.

Summary: A Great Support at A Difficult Time
Review: I found the essays very comforting when faced with the death of a beloved family member. Believing, if not knowing, that "you don't die alone", that it's only sad for those left behind, that practicing Unconditional Love is the reason for our existence makes the death experience less frightening. After reading this I can more fully celebrate her life rather than mourn her death.
