Rating: Summary: Very Helpful Review: I use this book every few days, as a meditation-starter. The positive thoughts are founded in "Christian" values, and yet go further with sometimes radically thought-provoking statements. For example, "This instant is the only time there is....My present happiness is all I see....And everything that seems to happen to me, I ask for, and receive as I have asked." Insights into human behavior such as these have helped me realize more peace in the present, more groundedness, more energy for my goals.
Rating: Summary: Keeping it simple Review: If you are searching for a belief system you can actually believe, this is your book. It simplifies and distills life's emotions down to love and fear- with fear defined as the absence of love. The book challenges the reader to recognize that his or her "reality" is actually based on skewed perceptions, often colored by negative past experiences. The good news is that Dr. Jampolsky provides an actionable, step-by-step process to undo some of our misperceptions and need for control, and to begin to experience more peace. I have found myself less judgemental and more accepting of myself and others based on the simple but profound message this book has to offer.

Rating: Summary: Peace of Mind. Review: In our Internet/computer connected, super-speed world, we sometimes need to sit back an experience love, peace of mind. I recommend this book, as well as, "Life and Death on the Internet" by Keith A. Schroeder. They are a plus to any library.
Rating: Summary: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED Review: In the last several years I have read this book a number of times -- I keep coming back to it because in easy to understand language it simply explains how to live a happy and peaceful life. Don't know how many copies I've given away -- am purchasing a couple more today!
Rating: Summary: excellent self help book Review: In the two weeks since I read the book it has already helped me relax and release some of my quilt of the past and fear of the future by emphasizing the present. It helps to embrace and love one's self and all others. It points out that "what we give away, we give to ourself". It states that our goal is "peace of mind" and the way to acheive that is through forgiveness, the kind that is achieved through aceptance. Freedonm from fear gives the opportunity to open one's self to the love in the universe.
Rating: Summary: Transformational and healing Review: Jampolsky's writings have the same autobiographical and meaningful transformational style and power as Thom Hartmann's "The Prophet's Way" or Marianne Williamson's "A Return To Love." Highly recommended for anybody on the spiritual path and concerned with relationships.
Rating: Summary: Love Is Letting Go of Fear Review: One afternoon my emotions were at a rock bottom. I needed help. Out of all of the books available in a Unity Library/Bookstore, this one drew my attention. I took it to a quiet restaurant. I had about 5 hours between church and time to go to work. Within 2 hours I had read the book and found a new way of looking at everything that had me so down. (A previously good relationship had gotten very unpleasant and was close to changing drastically. My financial resources were very low and I didn't know whether I was going to be able to pay my rent when it came due.) I realized that by using the principles presented in this book, I could, in an instant, go from sadness to joy, just by changing my perception of any situation. I notice that many of the other reviewers say, "This book changed my life." I am one more person saying the same thing. If you're ready for real help to feel better, this will give it to you. I strongly recommend this book to you if you are hurting for any reason and if you don't want to hurt anymore.
