Orloff builds a crystal-clear case for the value of intuition, which often is the best (and sometimes the only) source of accurate and timely information in life-or-death situations. Orloff describes how we need not fear death, but can learn to access tremendous reserves of strength by welcoming the energy of death into our lives and learning to better understand death on an intuitive level. INTUITIVE HEALING is priceless for anyone in need of medical care, and equally valuable to those who simply desire to develop intuitive abilities. I give this book my highest recommendation!

Summary: Intuitive Healing
Review: I don't know where to start when speaking about Dr. Judith Orloff. I had the privilege of meeting and listening to her at a lecture in Atlanta. At that time I was experiencing visual problems and a pounding in my left ear. Prior to meeting Judith, a neurologist had diagnosed me with migraines and a hearing loss (I am only 45), a diagnosis that I just assumed I had to accept, after all he was a "Neurologist". I was very uncomfortable in a way that's hard to explain. Uncomfortable emotionally, a confused feeling that just wouldn't go away and I couldn't figure out why. After listening to Judith and reading only a few chapters of her book I called and made an appointment with an ENT who told me my hearing was perfect but that he heard something in the arteries in my neck. After an angiogram I was told that the arteries in the right side of my brain were completely blocked and the left side was 60% blocked. They said I had Fibromuscular Dysplasia and I was lucky I was alive but there was nothing that could be done. This time I knew that the uncomfortable confused feeling I was experiencing was something screaming within me that needed a voice, my voice. I consulted with many Doctors who said the same thing. I finally found a wonderful Neurologist, Dr. Robert Spector who, within days, had me in the hospital where they put three stents in my brain to open the arteries and I am alive. If it were not for Dr. Judith Orloff and her book, I would not be alive. Where I used to "hear" I now "listen" to everything I feel and to everything I am told by those who are "supposed to know". I "act" on how I "react" to these voices now and have learned that mine is always the one to trust. Thank you Judith for sharing your compassion and wisdom which literally helped save my life. Review: Dr. Orloff's book Intuitive Healing was a joy to read. It was filled with wisdom, compassion and practical steps and exercises for anyone interested in moving from theory to practice. I loved the user-friendly approach she takes as Dr. Orloff shares real-life accounts of how intuitive healing can and does create miraculous results in people's lives. I invited Dr. Orloff on my radio talk show to discuss this book and in addition to being a wonderful writer, she's an excellent speaker, too! Our listeners LOVED her! If you are interested in alternative ways to heal, buy this book for yourself and those you love!

Summary: Judith Orloff ROCKS
Review: I recently went to Kripalu Yoga Center and took Judith Orloff's workshop entitled "Intuitive Healing". I bought both her books, and I believe she is the wave of the therapeutic future. Long overdue and probably right on time, she is completely in touch with her intuition and not only demonstrates it profoundly in her workshop, but eloquently explains the same and more in her book. It is the perfect tool, giving me exercises to tune into my body's wisdom and remaining open to what my intuition is trying to tell me in making decisions in everything that I do in my life. I was on a spiritual path anyway, so having her book as a guide and meeting her in person merely served to validate what my instincts have been telling me for quite some time. Thank you Judith, I spread this wonderfully positive message daily and look forward to your future books and workshops in the future.

Summary: Mind-body Connection....What it did for me
Review: I have been into the mind-body conneciton for about 20 years. About 7 years ago I was diagnosed with end stage kidney disease. Which meant my kidneys would go down, down, down and I would die even if I were on dialysis. I started using the techniques I had read about from the books I had read on the subject. Slowly my kidneys came back and after two years on dialysis I had enough kidney function to stop doing it. I talked with four kidney specialists and they all said that is not supposed to happen. None of them had ever even heard of anyone getting off dialysis before. Of all the books on self healing I have read, Judith Orloff's book on Intuitive Healing, in my opinion, is the best I've seen. She discribes how the system works and gives the reader examples of what Intuitive Healing has done for people she knows. Her book is well written and is an easy read. She is not into psycobabble, but has her techinques presented in plain everyday language so that anyone can understand. I highly recommend Judith Orloff's book Intuitive Healing to everyone who is interested in the consept that our bodies are capable of curing themselves.

Summary: workbook of life
Review: Intuitive healing reflects the the author's deep love of human life. So it is much more than a book about one of the most exciting developements in holistic medicine. By showing how to open the doors to the various non-physical aspects of our life, Judith Orloff gives a practical guide to the mostly unediscovered worlds within us. I have got a warm-hearted workbook to do the most important work in my life: to recognize myself, to accept those various aspects of my inner world and to live them lovingly as being of the universe. Going through this process, Judith Orloff touches all aspects of human life in a loving and understanding way. I felt supported and accepted by her opness working on subjects I did not like so very much in my own life. She helped me to leave this old game of disciminating my own behavior between "good" aspects that I love and "bad" ones that I condamned. She showed me a way out of it by enabling me to love and to integrate the whole life as a gift of the universe. Challenging, but very worth to live. I couldn't read this book as usual, it took more time and I think it will still accompany me on my way a little while. It will be one of those books I take in my hands again again. For me it is a workbook of life. Thank you Judith.

Review: Dr. Judith Orloff has done a marvelous job of helping us understand how to help ourselves develop physical, emotional, and sexual well being. Her direct, loving, and easy to read approach draws us into her profound insight about the human condition. Not only are we able to gain important knowledge of what is happening within ourselves on different levels, we learn an extremely "user friendly" way to attain health, joy, and love in our lives. I finished her first book, Second Sight, within two days. Intutitve Healing is equally as compelling and even more instructional. This is a must read for all!
