Summary: Sometimes I Wonder
Review: "...Renounce all claims to humanhood and mortality," writes Price. "Care not what is going on in your world . . . and return to the Father's House where you have belonged ever since you left under the spell of mortality." But we are human. We are mortal. And is that such a bad thing? What's wrong with being human? Is it some sort of punishment? I thought it was an honor, a pleasure, a joy to be human. I can understand needing to align our personalities more with our souls or spiritual nature. But to cast aside our personalities, our humanness, our mortality, seems off center to me. I'm not ashamed of my humanness--why should I "renounce" my claim to mortality? Who ever said being human is lower than being a spirit? If so, then why are we in these miraculous physical bodies? To perform some sort of penance? That's not my idea of celebrating life as a human in this beautiful world.

Summary: Learn what the real source of abundance is!
Review: All true abundance comes from God, and John Randolph Price shares his wisdom and knowledge he has received from spirit on this very important topic. Learn to manifest monetary supply through spiritual principles, and bring yourself the abundance you truly deserve while on the earthplane. This book includes a 40 day plan for prosperity, consisting of meditations designed to connect your conscious mind with spirit, the true source of your abundance. A must-have for anyone on a spiritual path who would like to generate more material supply.

The first time I worked with this book, I definitely had an increase in income, but I was still learning how to truly accept the concepts presented in this book, since it was all new to me. I put the book away for a couple of years, and got it out again recently. This time, I have been amazed by the results- I immediately had abundance manifest into my life in the form of clients, abundance, and unexpected gifts. I am very grateful that I am going through the 40-Day Prosperity Plan again, because it is working great! Highly recommended.

Summary: Head in the clouds?
Review: Anyone who believes that reading this little book is the secret to wealth & happiness is probably so busy trying to find the end of that rainbow that they miss Ed McMahon when he comes to the door with your check. Chant away you freaks - the key to financial 'abundance' is not picking the right lottery numbers (although that would kinda work too) but in choosing the right career path, ie: a job that you actually have an interest and talent in, and finding a way to make it work for you. As my Dad always said, nothing in life is free. So please, people, put your feet on the ground, stop reaching for the stars, and take this long-distance dedication to heart - find what you're good at, be happy with your choice, put in the leg-work, and eventually abundance will find you. As for this little book, the only person to whom it brought abundance was the author.

Summary: Try It:: You Have Everything to Gain!
Review: As another Amazon reader has written, this book will challenge your thinking-- both conscious and unconscious-- about abundance, prosperity, money, and your worthiness to receive. I recommend that you give it a try, for it can lead to more happiness, security, peacefulness and-- yes-- abundance and prosperity. And your expenditure will be modest: only $7 plus shipping. As you will see below, this book worked for me and gave me many gifts.

SUMMARY: Simply put, The Abundance Book defines God and God's manifestation within you (however you care to define these concepts) as the sole source of your prosperity. God is characterized as all-providing. (Note that this book can be used by agnostics and atheists as well as theists, in that the program can be modified to refer to God as the force of natural law, as the intelligent force in the universe, or in similar terms.)

While God must, of necessity, work through people and material events, you should not confuse these vehicles with God, the Source. Rather, you should allow God to work with you, inside you, and through you and others to bring you abundance and prosperity. The book, through a 40 day program, teaches you to incorporate these principles into your daily life.

WHAT HAPPENED TO ME WHEN I TRIED IT: I was laid off in the summer of 2002. I determined that I wanted to use a spiritual approach as well as conventional means to conduct my search for employment. I started the 40 day program on August 14, 2002. After the 40 days were up, I continued to read affirmations and excerpts from the book daily.

Initially, the program was difficult for me, for it caused me to realize that I had subconscious views that I was unworthy of receiving abundance, particularly in the form of money. I also had difficulty in believing the concept that I was a part of or a manifestation of God, and that God worked in me and through me. With time, these concepts became more and more comfortable.

The next thing that I noticed was a greater feeling of peace, security and calm acceptance of my circumstances. I continued to look hard for work, but became more comfortable with the belief that a job would come to me with time and that I would be taken care of by God until it did. This belief gave me a sense of comfort and ease during a very unsettled time, and allowed me to conduct my job search with more confidence and peace than I normally would have done.

This feeling of serenity also allowed me to use some of my savings to attend a conference related to my profession, to visit distant family, and to take a brief vacation. I also continued to make charitable contributions and made a financial gift to a friend in need during this period. These actions were very uncharacteristic for me, because I had been raised to worry about money, especially in lean times. Instead, this more liberal use of my savings left me feeling empowered. (Note, however, that I did not enter into any expenditures that would lead me into financial jeopardy. Confidence and peace should not mean foolhardiness.)

I completed the 40 day program in late September. Coincidentally or not (and I recognize that employers are more active in late September and October than they are in the summer) my resume began to get better response and I began to have more interviews-- a trend that continued through the autumn.

HAPPY ENDING: I accepted a job offer at 20% above the total amount of my previous salary AND bonus (and at an even higher percentage above my previous base salary). The salary is the highest that I have ever earned-- and this in a recession. In addition, I was told that I was selected for the position from a field of extremely well-qualified candidates and that the selection process was competitive.

I believe that The Abundance Book has helped me materially. More important, I KNOW it has enhanced my view of God and God's works, and made me into a happier, more spiritually evolved, more secure and more generous person. These last are treasures not easily gained. I am supremely grateful to The Abundance Book, to John Randolph Price and, most importantly, to God.

I hope that you buy The Abundance Book and follow its program. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Summary: Small, compact and definitely the same old message.
Review: At first I started out reading this book as if the holy word were contained therein. Given the glowing reviews one could hardly fault me. But this is an old, old, old message that I for one, have heard all my life. In fact if you even went to church a teeny tiny little bit you know this message.I don't have a problem with what John has to say but I do have a problem with how ambiguous the message can be. If you succeed well good you must have followed the message of the book. If you fail then you must have thought too hard about money, or you let your fear of money stray into your thoughts or heaven forbid you actually thought you made that money yourself instead of our almighty maker (don't let the fact that you have a job cloud your thoughts about that one).My mother is quite religious and follows these same religious practices. She meditates, she follows the rules and I still have to support her. Guess she just let too much fear get into her thoughts huh John.... why else isn't she rolling in the green stuff.

Summary: Don't believe the hype
Review: Based on various positive reviews, I was very eager to read this book. I read it from cover to cover and I'm disappointed. I completed the 40 day properity plan in February of this year. I took a leap of faith and followed the plan exactly by doing it over 40 consecutive days as the book requires. It took two attempts before I was successful. While I write this review seven months later, I have not received any financial blessings in my life. The promises of abundance did not come to pass. For the record, I am a Christian and believe in Jesus Christ as my savior. I listen to religious programs on the radio and read the Bible from time to time. Just because a book mentions God doesn't mean it's any good. I should have known better.

Summary: If you're READY for what you want and/or need, GET THIS BOOK
Review: Don't be fooled by the size of this book, (easy to carry around and refer to)there is a reason for everything. What Mr. Price does in this book is amazing. He removes all the mystique of creating wealth. He also removes any guilt many of us may have drilled into us about wanting to be prosperous. We are shown that abundance is our natural right and to not recognize this is actually going against Universal Laws. This little book packs a power punch and if you put aside any limiting beliefs just for a moment, you will experience whatever you want to come into your life; money, love whatever. You have the power now...you need to learn how to open up to it and let the "invisible become visible!" The book is not expensive so order more than one copy...you will give some away and happily. The best gift to give yourself is this book and what it offers. If you read this whole review.....you are ready for this treasure.

Summary: Try It:: You Have Everything to Gain!
Review: Have you ever felt like you wouldn't have so many money issues if only you could get out of your own way? More precisely, have you noticed that possibly it's your core beliefs about money that set you up for feeling the presence or absence of it in your life? If so, you're fully primed for THE ABUNDANCE BOOK.

This book is perfect for anyone who is willing to consider the possibility that God (or divine spirit) exists fully and completely within each and every one of us, and that there is an innate energy of total prosperity implicit in this fact. In other words, we are divine beings who deserve to live prosperous, creative, inspired lives! If you can accept this premise into your core beliefs, and devote 15 minutes of each day for 40 days to writing down one of ten daily affirmations, you will have completed the John Randolph Price's Prosperity Plan.

This purse-sized book will give you everything you need to help you find the flow of money in your life, provided (1) you are willing to accept the basic premise that divine spirit is the source of money and resides within you, and (2) you are disciplined enough to spend 15 minutes each day meditating on the daily affirmations.

What I love most about working with this book and it's 40 day prosperity plan is that I noticed beliefs changing inside me that I didn't even know I had, until I started this program! I love the way this book stays so positively focused on the desired outcome that it blows away any inner critic or negativity. It's awesome!
