Review: This book is very much about the ceaseless activity of the mind. It explains how our thoughts are like magnets, drawing the effect of our thoughts to us. It provides a clear understanding as to what is being mentally materialized each and every day of life. A wonderful book and I highly recommend it.

Review: This book opens a door where there was previously a wall. In reading this book, one begins to understand a univeral truth does exist, and is applicable to everyone in every situation. Ms. Shinn affirms that by casting the burden of lack, one becomes forced to to see only that which is positive and good. Isn't that what we all should see? She affirms that within each of us a divine light. It is anchored within us, and goes before us, showing us the way. When you are ready to make your life happen, you will read this book. It will change your outlook on life forever -- and you will be better having read it!

Review: This book opens up a whole new world to those who will allow themselves to be still and listen to the wise words. This is an uplifting book which offers hope and courage to all readers. The affirmations are wonderful and I use them daily now. Reading this book opened my mind and soul to allow myself to become more spiritual. I used to not understand what people meant when they said, "I'm spiritual, but not religious." Now, I understand because my spirituality is changing and it all started with reading this book.

Summary: ~ YOU CANNOT GO WRONG WITH THIS BOOK ~
Review: This book was a real spiritual awakening for me. Life is all about what you put out there coming back to you. I have purchased several copies for friends who have all been going through their own difficulties. Each person has been greatly uplifted through reading this book. I, myself, was laid off shortly after reading this book. Thinking it was a bad thing at the time, later I realized that things happen for a reason and that better was in store for me. The affirmations are just wonderful and gave me a whole new way of thinking. When I am feeling down, I always refer to Florence and can count on her "wisdom" to get me through it. Hope it can help you too.

Review: This book will hit home...not only does it provide crystal clear analogies for life's problems, but it has several pages of affirmations that will work wonders for you. Hard to believe that it was written in the early part of the century.

Review: This is an excellent book. I've sent a copy to all of my friends. Florence has taught me how to open up and allow postive engery to flow into my life.

Review: This is one of the best prayer/positive thinking/affirmation book ever written. FLorence Shinn joins the ranks of famed author such as Norman Vincent Peale, Joseph Murphy, Napoleon Hill, Ernest Holmes and others as great authors in this field of "Thoughts are THings" paradigm.
Although I am not a Christian, I did the some of the affirmations and denial affirmations as in the book, and within 1 week I got the opportunities I hoped for! I am also an avid reader of Ernest Holmes and Joseph Murphy.
However I do not fully believe in her saying that Tithing is a must, and it is greater than charity. (Of course! She is a Christian Minister!) I have seen many very spiritual and wealthy men who do not tithe (because they are of other reiligions, or no religion), but give generously to charity. I have also seen many religious people tithe all their life and yet always struggling for more money. I am not saying tithing is wrong, but as even she admitted that one who tithes(gives) but do not believe in receiving will not receive anything. Tithe or Charity - it still shows that the attitude of tithing is still based on Belief. All it does is to tell your subconscious mind that there is more than enough money available to you.
Florence Shinn and Catherine Ponder seem to be more religious in their writing. Other authors such as Ernest Holmes talks more about the power of faith, affirmations,prayer and the mind, rather than getting too deep into religion.

Review: This is without a doubt the best book that I have ever read. Florence teaching of metaphysics is outstanding. Once you read this book, your whole life will change, and how you look at life will change. I have bought this book for friends to have, because I was so enlightened by it.
