For those dealing with heavy control issues and unwilling to surrender - to your Divine Best - this is a wonderful tool to break down the blockages and let it go. It is wonderfully written with practical applications that apply to today which makes it easy for those who cannot grasp the underlying "how to" in so many books. Every problem, every challenge, every heart's desire - this book can teach you the tool to accomplish what's right for you. My recommendation to friends about this book is "if you buy this book, read it and apply it (yes, you have to make an effort on your part), I guarantee your life will be different in 30 days - sometimes sooner and sometimes longer.

Summary: Every Woman Must Read This!
Review: A friend of mine showed me this book years ago at a time in my life when I was really trying to reconnect to my own intuitiveness and spirituality. I loved all the messages, tools and creativity this lovely author shared in her writings. I now give this book to many friends and my Tarot clients when they're in need of reconnecting their own spiritual lives. I still re-read it when I become blocked in any area of my life. It really is a must read!

Review: A great book, although written 70-80 years ago, Florence Scovel Shinn has ideas that were great then and just as great now. It is one of the simplist written books I have seen so far. Very practical for every day living, and cutting through to the heart of our lives. You will love it!

Review: As with most people, I came across this book by accident. My sister received it as a gift about 2 years ago and never bothered to read it. She gave it to me and I opened it up and never put it down. I guess it turned out to be MY gift and it couldn't have come at a better time. One way to describe what I got and am getting out of this book is that all those feelings of fear, heartbreak, anger, jealousy, everything negative are just lifes way of showing us that we are on the wrong path. We are trying to force something that does not belong to us. This book teaches how we get on the right path, the unique, individual path that is ours. It's amazing. Everyone should read this!! Very enlightening. I plan on getting my sister a copy since I cannot part with this one. I also plan on getting 10 extra so I can spread the word!

Summary: A rare gem among the many modern new age wannabees...
Review: Back in the days of Paramhansa's Yogananda's first electrifying lectures in America and H. Spencer Lewis's wonderful books published by the AMORC Rosicrucians, another was writing a timeless classic: Florence Shinn. I simply cannot say enough good things about Florence and her writings. Suffice it to say that despite having read many so-called modern "experts" and "gurus" in modern self help/new age philosophy, it's rare to find anyone who is worthy to tie Florence's shoe laces nowadays if at all. For modern writers, Deepak Chopra is pretty good, and Arnold Patent is ever better; and there are a VERY FEW others out there if you don't mind having to go through a lot of kooky new age spiritual wannabees first to find them. And naturally, read EVERYTHING Swami Vivekananda and Paramhansa Yogananda ever wrote. These brilliant spiritual teachers along with the AMORC Rosicrucians and Florence Shinn present the most pure and original spiritual thought that has since been plagiarized by a bunch of phoney hacks, in my opinion. If Florence and the other aforementioned speak well to you, then in my opinion, you need not buy any other similar books. Thank you, Florence.

Review: Being a minister in training, I found this book, invaluable.It allows the reader to have a wonderful relationship with God and Jesus Christ, without all the hangups, and if you did have hang ups, they are gone by the time you have read the first few pages. Florence, way back then had insights to our spirituality, long before any of the writers of today.Thank you Florence for paving our way to enlightenment and love.I wished I could have sat down and talked with you, however I have your book close to my heart, so therefore have you and your wisdom.
