Summary: "OUTSTANDING!"
Review: This book is very inspirational and needs an opened mind to read it. If you listen to what they say it can free you. It's an outstanding book. I think what they are talking about is Total Freedom and Enlightenment. BUT also how to be practical about it. Making Money, Being Happy, Having great personal relationships, having fun too... I tried two of their audio tapes too that are outstanding. ('Completing Your Karma'... and 'Magical Relationships')

Summary: An amazing book for gentle, profound, deeply personal change
Review: Ariel and Shya Kane present you with an easy-to-follow approach that quickly moves your focus to levels of personal awareness that often only come through years of meditative practice. I feel like I have gotten more centered and satisfied with my life from reading this little bible about what they call "Instantaneous Transformation" than hundreds of other books and hundreds of other workshops I have taken over the years.

From the personal transformation I have experienced from just reading this book I am looking forward to doing a seminar soon with the Kanes the next time they do one in Los Angeles.

I re-read the book over and over again and always dicover something new each time. I really love how simple and beautiful it is.

Their approach is one of those rare processes that is simple, elegant, profound, and effective.

This book seems to find the bridge between practical personal improvement, and spiritual transformation. Highly recommended reading for anyone seeking a gentle method for personal change.

Summary: The best book about personal transformation I have ever read
Review: This is the best book I have ever read about personal transformation. The authors have discovered the most profound, powerful and refreshing approach to living a happy, successful and fulfilled life that I have ever come upon. It goes far beyond all other techniques and it makes transformation and self-realization easily accessible for modern people.

The book is fun and easy to read. It reveals the essence of the Kane's approach with simple explanations, wonderful stories and analogies and explorations of the key concepts or "Principles of Transformation." The book also includes many beautiful hand-drawn illustrations that help make the concepts easier to grasp. It is such a beautiful and inspiring book that it makes a great gift too.(I have given away a number of copies as gifts and people always love it.)

It helped shed a new light on many facets of myself - I discovered many new perspectives that have made my whole life easier. Also - it helped me to drop behaviors that were not effective or satisfying. And, lo and behold, I feel happier and lighter than I thought possible.

I have studied hundreds of different approaches to living, enlightenment, and achieving success. But the Kanes have discovered the best blend of all - they make it easy to achieve enlightenment(or whatever you want to call it...) without sacrificing worldly success!

I have taken some of their seminars as well and they were great! The Kanes are the real thing! They practice what they preach and they teach other people how to achieve a state of well being and balance. They have an amazing way with people... they help people to discover their true selves, and help them to achieve their own personal greatness. They teach people how let go of negative judgements about themselves and others. And in the process they are able to help people to rediscover their own hopes and dreams. And achieve levels of happiness they had forgotten were possible for them. Their seminars work. Their approach to living works.

I highly recommend this book. You should buy it and read it. If you are intrigued by what you read I highly recommend their seminars as well.

Summary: THIS BOOK HAS MADE A DIFFERENCE IN MY LIFE
Review: What a wonderful book! Great practical stories and quotes. I could really relate to it. Easy to read, fun, touching and honest.

This book has so many gems in it. It touched me right away on the first page! with the following quote:

"When Shya was little. He asked him mother, IDA, Why people were so unhappy and why there was so much pain and suffering in the world.
She replied, "I don't know. It has always been this way. When you grow up, maybe you can do something about it."

If you want to make a difference in your life, this book is for you. It definitely has made a difference for me and I highly recommend it.

Summary: This book will make a difference in your life
Review: What if some people had to seek the truth of their lives for a long time, but
we don't have to? What if you could, to paraphrase a famous quote "stand on
the shoulders of giants" and learn from their seeking. What if they realized
that the keys to a healthy, happy, successful existence were in front of them
all along and it just took a while for them to realize it and the time it
takes for us to realize that we don't have to work on ourselves is
drastically shortened because of their experience? What if you could accept
all this and actually feel good about yourself from a simple, fun, light
read? I know it's possible - it happened to me and it has happened for many
of my friends to whom I have recommended this book.

I used to go to book stores and head straight for the self-help section. I
read dozens of books on awareness, enlightenment, and spirituality, and some
were very helpful. But what all the good ones had in common was a short-term
calming effect, a feeling that everything was ok. Then, after a short while,
the same old feelings of struggle, worry, stress, and self-recrimination
would creep back in to my life. Eventually, I found "Working on Yourself
Doesn't Work" and it was a completely different experience. While most of
the other books I read felt esoteric and heavy, this book felt like reading
an interesting article. There was a lightness to it, a simplicity that
allowed it to sink in and take hold. I read it very quickly and the
completeness of its amazing effect on me was not totally apparent, but I felt
very good about my life right away. As a matter of fact, the first time I
read it was during a night of insomnia where I only slept 1 hour. I can
recall having lots of energy the next day and feeling like I had dumped lots
of old garbage I believed about myself and my life. I felt very good about
who I am. Even after just one read, the concepts in the book simply started
happening in my life, without any effort on my part. I wasn't "doing"
anything like practicing "mindfulness", I wasn't meditating, I wasn't doing
affirmations. I was just living my life and I would start to notice my
behaviors and my environment in a completely new way, without judgment. My
relationships with people improved as I started to discover who I was instead
of being angry with my automatic behaviors. I started making more money and
got promoted at my job because I was operating with more personal
responsibility and working in partnership with my co-workers. There was a
lot less stress and worry in my life. The extraordinary value, however, came
over the course of time. Every time I reread this book, it strengthens who I
am, I reconnect with a feeling of being centered in my life and most
importantly, it lasts. A willingness to look at my life and how I operate has
become instinctive. As a result, I feel more present, more complete and more
self-assured than I ever have before in my life.

Summary: Excellent - It really Works!
Review: I really apprecate the style of the Kanes. I had the pleasure of designing the cover of "Working on Yourself, Doesn't Work" and have read it many times. I always discover something new each time I read it. My life simply keeps getting better!

I recently shared the book with some business associates. (I sent gifed wrapped copies from Amazon.com) Everyone appreciated the book so much that during our last businees dinner they couldn't stop talking about it.

One of themes that really touched them was the concept of "being alive" or "being right". We all feel so much more alive since reading the book.

What an amazing gift "Working on Yourself, Doesn't Work" is. I love the impact this book has had. It turned acquaintances into real friends. They have all personnaly thanked me.

I stongly recommend you read it... buy copies for your friends, too! They will Thank You for it!

P.S. I also love their audio tapes "Magical Relationships" and "More Magical Relationships."
