Review: I read this book first ten years ago. I found it amazing then, and even more so now. This book has changed my life for the better, without a doubt! The processes in this book are simple, and can easily be applied to anyone. Hubbard makes it clear that this book was written for the 'able' in society, and it's technology will make one even more 'able'. I think that's what best summerizes this incredible book. You can achieve your dreams, and stand atop your own mountains of success. It is possible, no matter what others who try to tell you otherwise. You as an individual can achieve happiness in being totally 'you'. This book will show you how. It takes courage to survive in society today. It can be difficult to confront at times. This book will make it easier, without a doubt. It will take you farther than you have ever dreamed if you have the courage to conquer it. Buy and read this book today. No other book will ever be more important in the search for your true self. Don't believe what others tell you, read it for yourself without bias or predjudice. Make sure you understand every page before you go on. Use a good dictionary, and really get the full picture. There are a lot of nuts about who would tell you 'don't read it!' Review: I found this book very useful. I USED what was said in the book and had very good results. I also did what is said in the "Note" that talks about clearing up word you do not understand (look them up in the dictionary). I can see nothing in this books, but a way to improve a person with out drugs. I wish the best of luck to all that read this book. No matter how odd the reading is at 1st, once you DO the things in the book you may find them for yourself true. If you have an interest in this book, get it, if nothing else you may get a different view on life with out drugs as a solution. Best of luck, Tim P.S. Review: I am often puzzled by the critics of this book. If they actually read it, they would have found that Dianetics, scientific and expansive in scope, is a major breakthrough in how we think and what we can do about the mind. I have read it twice and applied its techniques on many people to excellent results. Buy it and read it. Try it!

Summary: "New Science of the Mind" is neither new nor scientific.
Review: Reading this book is a painful experience, broken only by occasional gouts of laughter (if one is still capable of it) at the inanity of the ideas contained within, and the tone of the writing. The "scientific" ideas have never been tested, never been subjected to anything more strenuous than a sales-pitch test. Its claims have never been fulfilled, and its logic hardly merits the name.

Summary: Biggest waste of paper yet!
Review: If you want a book that will improve your life, don't bother with this tome! The author has a hard time differentiating between sciencefiction & science fact... this book is full of pseudoscience & mysticism, & I shudder to think that people base their lives upon something so full of mumbo-jumbo. It was definitely a waste of my money, but it does make for lovely kindling.
