Summary: Mildly entertaining...not as good as the first one
Review: I looked up a lot of relationships in this book and didn't find them to really fit well with the descriptions being said in the book. The symbols of marriage, love, friendship, and family were equally as confusing, because some had low love ratings, but had high marriage ratings. I mean really now...that doesn't make sense. Anyway, I suggest glancing at a few relationships before committing to buying the book. If you are new to the Secret Language books, I highly recommend the Birthday book as it is a great party booster. :)

Summary: insanely insightful!!!
Review: I must give this book an absolutely wonderful review. It has helped me to understand things about myself and my relationships with other people that has really helped me to change myself and therefore my to change my relationships for all the better. This particular book by Gary Goldschneider and Joost Elffers gives insight on all relationship combinations throughout the year, giving the weaknesses, strenghts and everything in between in the realtionship. The only reason this or any other astrology/personology book would ever not make sense to anyone, is because of the failure to recognize qualities within yourself, others, or your relationships. So, if something you read in this book or any other for that matter, doesn't seem at all like what you percieve in your reality, take a step back from the situation and look at it with a broader perspective. There were many things that I realized to be true about myself and my relationships after reading this book. It's truly incredible. I love it! I reffer back to it all the time and I can't wait to buy the other books by Goldschneider and Elffers about Destiny and Birthdays. I hope that all of you out there will give these books a chance! They are simply wonderful!

Review: I read the Secret Language of Birthdays, and thought it was totally on. With this book, I felt the success rate was around 30%. Peruse it in your local bookstore before indulging!

Summary: A Must Have Reference Book!!!
Review: I think this book is great! Everytime I meet someone new, I look them up in this book. You never get tired of it, because as you constanly meet new people, you constatnly use it. I also reccomend: The Day You Were Born By: Linda Joyce

Summary: Very informative yet lacking
Review: I thought this book did very well describing the nature of the relationships but is written in the negative perspective. The categories of best and worst relationships were incredibly vague and really didn't give you a solid description. In some ways the authors seemed disgruntled with marriage. The only question remaining, what is better marriage or love? Is there an order? Otherwise an entertaining book.

Summary: Disappointingly inaccurate
Review: I was amazed to find out that my best friend and I were a terribly match! My boyfriend and I were rated "Worst:marriage"! The birthday book was by far the best and most accurate. I think the reason some people find this book more accurate than others is that the authors judge relationships not on the exact birthday but each birthday period is split into groups (i.e. Dec 1-7.)So, like astrology, it works for some and not others.

Summary: Too negative about too many relationships.....
Review: I was very disappointed with this book. I am very open to many forms of spirituality, spiritualism, and mysticism, and I thought that this book would at least give me food for thought about relationships in general and about the specific relationships in my life.

Unfortunately, I did not resonate with the descriptions in the book. I think the main reason is that the prognosis was almost always negative. I know that all relationships are a complex mixture of positive and difficult elements. However, most relationships are not mostly bad. Furthermore, I do not want to dwell, almost exclusively, on the reasons that relationships won't work. I would rather know about how to make them better.

I also think that the mixture of astrology and numerology and other forms of analysis did not work for me. The combination created a muddle instead of providing more clarity.

I see that most people have enjoyed this book. I wish that I did.

Summary: Simply astounding....
Review: If you have any interest at all in astrology, numerology, etc., and their impact on personality and relationships, you must read this book. You won't put it down until you've read and analyzed every personal relationship you share with members of your family, friends, and co-workers. And what's more, you'll find the in-depth descriptions of personality traits chillingly accurate. I found that the descriptions of relationships between various weeks of birth to focus too much on the negative but even so, the personality descriptions reveal traits and inclinations that will give you goosebumps with their 'bullseye' accuracy. Read about your own week of birth and its corresponding traits and you might find yourself chuckling or weeping as it will reveal not only your quirky, magnetic qualities but your deep-seated fears and inhibitions. I can only say 'Buy it...read it'.

Summary: So much fun like its partner book...
Review: If your going to buy this book I would say buy the Secret Language of Birthdays as well. Then you can understand it a little better. Both are VERY fun books. Read my review on the Secret language of Birthdays. They are just too much fun and for the most part they are right on the money.
