Summary: Spiritual Guide
Review: After having read all of Dr.Weiss' books, I can't help but think that his teachings are a guide to our Soul's Journey. I have pased on many of the books to friends who were intitially drawn to past life research through interests in Living History. The direction of the Soul's Journey was an inevitable path. It is the most important message we can receive and give. I recommend it to friends who are on a search within, as well as a good path through our present life. It works.

Summary: A pure classic!
Review: Brian Weiss has brought this esoteric subject into the mainstream with this wonderful book. I have read it over and over and I still don't get tired of the stories. Don't hestitate to buy this book immediately! You won't be disappointed.

Summary: The Truth is Out There for Those Who Truely Want to Know.
Review: Dr. Weiss has come a long way in the years since his first book "Many Lives, Many Masters". He wrote from a more skeptical point of view in his first book, not knowing if reincarnation was true or not. But knowing that this therapy helped his patients immensely. After regressing over 2000 people, he no longer wonders if reincarnation is true or not. In "Messages from the Masters" he no longer doubts that we are immortal beings that are having a human experience. I found his work fulfilling. Validating my own experiences with those of his patients and even some of his own. He covers different meditation techiques so the reader can start to have their own experiences. I don't think that everyone will completely relate to this book, however for those that "know" there is something else to our world, this book will help you understand where we are heading. It may make you look at everyone (especially your loved ones) with a different attitude.

Summary: Great book - but only if you've alraedy read the others...
Review: Dr. Weiss is an excellent writer, and his books are top priority for anyone wishing to know the basics of rebirth, and ultimately the meaning of life! But If you don't start with "Many Masters, Many Lives", and then follow on to "Only Love is Real", you'll just think he is just another "New Age Pseudo-Guru"... Here, Dr. Weiss goes even deeper on the findings about the simple and powerful meaning of Love, in the "cosmic" sense, and anyone interested in some easy-to-understand instructions should read it. By the way: This one was issued FIRST here in Brazil (about six months ago!)

Summary: Not As Hokey As it Sounds
Review: Even if you've never read any of Brian Wiess's previous books on reincarnation and all of it's implications, you will find much to kick-start your brain in his latest book. Weiss never comes across as a fanatic and his reports of guidance from the spiritual world are just as worthy of study as any standard theological philosophies. Another recommendation: Check out his lengthy, candid, and fascinating interview in the recently published book VOICES OF TRUTH: Conversations with scientists, thinkers and healers by Journalist Nina L. Diamond. He answers all of the questions that are probably running through your mind when you read his books.

Summary: QUITE A LOVE TAP!!
Review: Having made "past-life regression" a household word, this author has courageously taken another step toward raising the consciousness of his readers. He seems to be saying now, past life information is of value, but don't linger there-- take the data you discover about who you "were" and apply it to today. Stay in the moment, live in the "here and now"; face today's issues knowing you have help from a universal life force. The book is filled with anecdotes, familiar universal truths, concepts and tips on love, compassion, inner peace, harmony and balance; all the more meaningful because of Dr Weiss' scientific, analytical background and training. He invites us to explore the power of love, and the existence of Masters, spiritual guides. "So what is your purpose and why are you here, this lifetime?", asks the author. A worthy addition to his previous books. I enjoyed, "Many Lives, Many Masters", and this latest book is equally fascinating.

Summary: Highly recommended
Review: Having read many spiritual books, this one, in my view, is among the best. It provides answers to many questions. The author seems to take into account that not all readers may be as spiritually evolved as himself and takes the trouble to explain in a manner that is easily understood. I would definitely recommend this book.

Summary: Want a deeper insight into your life? How about philosophy?
Review: I give Dr. Weiss (ever notice that he has to keep harping on and reassuring us of his medical credentials more than once?) one star for giving vivid descriptions of his patients' accounts. You may like to read this book for your general entertainment, but please bring along more than your healthy dose of skepticism. Dr. Weiss has also kindly recommended that we "carry (our) logical, rational mind(s) on this journey", which I find is a total irony since I could find neither logic nor rationality in the book I've read thus far. For all his medical training, where can we find the evidence to verify the accounts given by his patients during his regression therapy sessions? By the way, there really isn't any need to print his "M.D" title on the cover too, isn't it? Why don't I see any great scientists doing that too then, for all their brilliance and achievements? I see it as a bid to make use of science to gain credibility for trying to glorify the proliferation of "new age" beliefs and to provide an explanation of paranormal phenomena in a totally unscientific manner.

Commit it to the flames.
