Summary: Good but outdated ideas
Review: In an attempt to include a wealth of resources. The book is easily outdated. There are many ideas and I strong suggest to expand on them. They provide a trigger for your own imagination. However, some websites are no longer in use. But don't let this bring you down. There is a feeling of motivation to be romantic after going through the ideas. If the object/website/thing no longer exists, use your imagination and give it a new twist.

I found it did turn my attitude. I became more happy because I kept on trying to come up with ideas to make someone else happy.

Summary: Ideas are too goofy to try
Review: My boyfriend tried 1 item from this book, which worked great.

The other ideas he thought were too goofy to try, so its been collecting dust on the shelf.

For men who aren't quite sure what romance is or how to be romantic, I think you need to start slower & have more beefier manly ideas. Also, the ideas need to be simply not a huge involvement required, or no man is going to be willing to give it try. That's my 2 cents.

Summary: Your Wife Will Love You For Reading This Book
Review: Reading this book opened my mind to a whole lot of romantic possibilities. It's full of suggestions maybe we used to do, but somehow forgot to keep doing. Of course, I adapted some of the suggestions to my circumstances. I like the idea of surprising my wife with little reminders while I'm away on business trips or the idea of mailing cards to her office to remind her during the day how much I love her. I tried the suggestion of hiding sticky notes, but she looked at me like I had lost my mind. She enjoyed receiving cards with clues leading up to a big date.

The author has two things going for him--his desire to never stop being romantic, and his creativity. He can see romantic opportunities in unlikely places. And the real message is, if you think of something romantic, do it.

I highly recommend this book. Even if an idea seems silly, try it. You'd be surprised at how many of the suggestions can make an ordinary day special.
