Summary: This changed my life - for the BETTER
Review: This book has given me the skills to get my act together. Anyone can come to our house now and the bathrooms are clean enough for visitors ... we also have clean cups, fresh food, cutlery, towels ... If you are completely disorganised and feeling that you are waiting to get things sorted out before your life really starts then this is the book for you. I never need to wear my swimsuit because I have no clean underwear any more! (And I am thirty-three, a computer programmer, and considered quite clever). This is for anyone who has trouble getting around to things. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Our home is a joy since I have used this system. It really works - for even the worst of housekeepers - and I was the WORST. I can do so much more now because I am not always looking for something to wear/eat/write with/write on/post/sit on... It is the ultimate de-stressing tool.

Summary: GET THIS BOOK!!
Review: This book is the BOOK for those of us not born organized. Not only do we learn how to get organized, we are entertained along the way. S.H.E is the only organization book that helped me. My first copy is long-gone, but I am ordering another today. Thanks Pam and Peggy!

Summary: Many happy memories
Review: I first read this book in 1986 when I borrowed it out of a mother's group lending library. I laughed until I cried at the chaos described--I could relate! This book is extremely motivational and has lots of super ideas. I am delighted to be able to get a copy of my own after all these years. I am not surprised this is still in print, it is a great book.

Summary: Best book on getting organised I have read!!
Review: It used to be a mystery to me how some folk's houses were always tidy and organised. I really just didn't understand how they did it and they couldn't really explain it either. They were just born organised. Now I know if I put this system into place (and I'm working on it very hard!) my house will be right. It's not just full of theories. There is a real system and that's what I like best about the book.

Summary: Powerful motivation combined with an easy system that works!
Review: This book is really an inspiration to those who either don't "have the time" or those without the know-how, to get going and get organized. I learned things about my life-style that I never realized were bad habits contributing to my unease and sloppiness. I'm now cleaning and organizing things I never gave much thought about. Easy "instructions" help to schedule chores and to delegate the easy-to-do ones to the children. this book was such a help to point me in the right direction and I highly recommend it.

Summary: I read this in 1992. It's GREAT! Got to read it again.
Review: I read this back when we bought our first home. It really helped. And it's funny, too. We've moved and share a house with our parents. The whole place needs reorganizing.... I've got to have another copy of this book. I must have given my first copy away to a friend in need. I highly recommend the read and Hey... do it. It works!

Summary: Fabulous ! For homemakers, it's real help !!!
Review: This was entertaining reading with real help as the goal. As a homemaker, I have desperately needed steering in the organizational department since I was NOT born organized ! It got me going, kept me interested, and is truly a working plan. If you need to declutter, get your house under control, have a real working housekeeping plan... this is the book for you !!

Summary: Amazing!
Review: We used this book when I was growing up, and now, a couple of decades of later (and with an ADHD diagnosis), I really need it! As a new step-mother of two small children and a chronic "piles person", I became overwhelmed. Within a week, I am already getting amazed compliments on my progress! In addition, I get many laughs from the writing. Great sense of humor for people "like us"! Also wonderful for teaching our ADHD son. THANKS!

Summary: If you envy your organized friends, this book is for YOU!
Review: There has been a jealousy I have had to deal with for so long... a jealousy of my friends, neighbors or relatives that have it SO TOGETHER!! I am organized to a point, I plan out my weekly meals, have certain days I do certain things on, but for the a majority of the time, I am scrambling to get ahead of the "mess" I keep finding myself in. Please, FORGET having someone unexpectedly stop by! I spend the entire time apologizing to my uninvited guest for the way my house looks! Anyway, reading this book made me realize that I am not alone in this world, that other people have pretended they were not home when someone comes to the door. These two sisters invented a plan of rotating cards for chores on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Once you go thru your house room by room in your mind, figure out what needs to be done in each room (from dusting picture frames to scrubbing windows) it is put on cards and then rotated, so as to NEVER have things pile up, because they are constantly being done! I really enjoyed this book, it was a lot of fun to read and I am now starting my own file box.

Summary: Humorous and real with practical suggestions
Review: I used Pam and Peggy's card system 15 years ago. My house was so clean you could eat off the floor. My MOTHER was even impressed. Fifteen years later I am readying a 5 bedroom house for sale and preparing to move to a smaller house. Pam amd Peggy's techniques will get me through the next many months with humor and sensible help
