Summary: Waste of money if you have the original S.H.E. book
Review: Years ago, I purchased the "Sidetracked Home Executives" book which I found to be entertaining and inspiring, and I was THRILLED to find out that Pam Young & Peggy Jones had just released a new book on the topic. However, I was very dismayed to find that the only thing different in this book is ONE chapter (about 8 pages) pertaining to using a database program on your home computer instead of the 3x5 card system. They only say that they like Lotus Notes but that other database programs are available....in other words, it's not an instructional chapter on HOW to use the database, just that it's an option. So, if you have the original "Sidetracked Home Executives" book, don't waste your money on this revised edition. All the other chapters, pictures and drawings are IDENTICAL to the original.

Review: I am a mother of 2 and a supported wife who would rather play and craft or go out and visit friends than face the house. I have struggled to get on top of things and wish I was more routined, but not knowing where to start always seems to stump me! Having being recommended to me by an american friend who said SHE revolutionised her life, I ordered the new version of the 'SHE:from pigpen to paradise...' book and read it over the weekend. The structures outlined are do-able. The ideas are the simple, basic building blocks that will enable me to grasp the mess and fog in my head and house and systematically sort it out. And I feel I can achieve this 'paradise' offered through steady plodding, conscious attacks on the sliding piles of paraphenalia, and no more random splurge outbursts of activity... but rather measured, steady, managable, bitesized pieces of activity. I really feel I can do this, with their honest offering of tasks broken down into managable, palatable jobs.

Review: I cried for joy that there were others like me! After seeing them on an afternoon talk show,..... unbelieving that they were telling "my story" ....I waited for my Marine hubby to come home and be with our three children - and immediately headed for the mall and the bookstore...bought their book and laughed and cried my way through it that very night! I KNEW these dear women and THEY KNEW ME! The frightened and overwhelmed me that tried to keep the "disorganized-lived-in-chaos-me" a deep dark secret...I was so sure I was all alone...such hope and such progress I made!!! I love Pam & Peggy and Peggy Ann (Hawaii). Buy this book! The authors have such a gift for transforming lives with love and compassion...no shame...no guilt....just guiding their readers to shift their self-perception from "I'm bad" to "I'm creative!!......and easily sidetracked!"

Summary: SHE is great for a lifetime
Review: I first read the original "SHE, From Pigpen to Paradise" back around the time it was first published. I saw a small item on it in "Women's Day" magazine and ordered it. Now I was born with 50% organized and 50% disorganized genes, so I am half organized. With Pam & Peggy's card system I spent less time doing houseword and the house was cleaner. I had 1 child, who is now married and has produced the world's cutest and smartest grandbaby. Throughout her childhood I had 5 day care kids so you could say I was busy. Now that she's gone and its just my husband and me I fell out of my card box. Bad idea. The closets are a mess, last year I was an officer in an organization I belong to and did a really bad job and this Christmas I spent an unhappy day frantically wrapping presents until my leg hurt and my back hurt. Its been a long time since I experienced this kind of frustration. I understand that Pam & Peggy have gone to a binder organizer system. I can't wait to read their updated book! I've ordered mine already.

Review: Pam and Peggy's system have helped thousands of women just like me (those who aren't born organized)... There are tons of women there who will daily attest to the fact that their lives have been changed by the sisters' surprisingly simple strategies. If you are afraid to open your closet doors because of the avalanche inside, if you won't let your kids have friends over because you're embarrassed by the mess, you've got to give them a try! They're hilarious to boot....

Summary: This book will take you from Pigpen to Paradise!
Review: Since Pam and Peggy started off being disorganized, they really know how to guide you from being a messy, disorganized housekeeper to being organized, systematic, and to have a great looking house and a great life! They have a very adaptable system so that you can work outside the home or be a homemaker and still use their suggestions. This book has made my family happier and given me more time to do the things that are important. I don't cringe when my friends drop by. It's a freeing feeling!

Summary: IF YOU KEEP TRYING TO GET IT TOGETHER...
Review: This book is for you, too! Written "from the heart" this book will make you laugh...at yourself. Adult women with ADD have challenges, and the fact that "other" people without ADD don't struggle with those issues, makes it even harder to live with. Even if you have not been diagnosed, you will find comfort and humor in the book, but more importantly....SOLUTIONS THAT WORK. Do yourself a favor and get the book. Further, if you are like me, you might have great intentions when you buy it...so don't just buy it....READ IT. It will change your life.

Review: This book is a great tool for everyone. Whether you just need a few tips or you need to totally begin at the beginning. I love the humor with which the information is presented. It has helped me to get my ADHD child to keep his room clean! (Something I thought imposible)
