Summary: maybe I'm too much of a bad girl already...
Review: ...but there was nothing particularly new in this book, or anything particularly surprising. This book MAY be helpful to some as a first step, but it most likely isn't a crucial read for those of us who are already satisfied with our sex lives and just looking to add a little extra spice.

Summary: Highly recommended reading for both single and married women
Review: Barbara Keesling's The Good Girls Guide To Bad Girl Sex: An Indispensable Resource For Pleasure And Seduction is a book specifically written in response to a society that condemns female sexual pleasure as "bad", and applauds female reservations to sexual impulses as "good." So, how is a woman who has been conditioned to be a "good girl" to enjoy a fulfilling sexual relationship with her partner? The Good Girls Guide To Bad Girl Sex offers exercises, advice, and guidance to help "good girls" learn to enjoy "bad girl" sex - i.e. learn to enjoy her sexuality without shame. Highly recommended reading for both single and married women.

Summary: Mixed Thoughts
Review: For a single woman, this book would be perfect. But for those that are married, I just don't see it being all that useful. I bought it to help spice up my marriage, but it really was more focused on those that are single and still searching for their partner in life.

Summary: Not all that and a bag of fritos.
Review: I bought this for my girlfriend who loves being a lady in public and less than ladylike when not in public. Her comment at the moment is "if you have common sense you don't need this book". Aside from getting a good laugh from it, we were rather unimpressed with this book. ...

Summary: Way to be a CONFIDENT WOMAN!
Review: I read this book and my friends can't wait for each other to read it, so 3 of them have already bought their own copies!

If you want a book on sexual positions and techniques, this book is not for you. However, if you are a woman who wants to learn that it is OK to be sexy and how to incorperate sexyness into everyday of your life (as well as redefine your idea about what it means to be "bad") this book is awesome! It is really about becoming an autonomous, confidant, adult woman! It's great!

My self-esteem is rising as I do the excersizes (don't worry, most of them are even FUN!) in the book. My posture has changed, I no longer have clothes in my warddrobe that I do not enjoy wearing, and it has opened up a whole range of wonderful conversation with my girls. In fact, if you liked this book or are interesting in hearing more from people that have read it, check out the Yahoo! Group "confident women"!

Basically, it is easy to read and full of great information for women at any stage in life that would like some encouragement to show their natural sexy attitude!

Read and Enjoy!!!

Summary: A Sexual Masterpiece!
Review: I was browsing through my local book store when I came upon this book. I sat in there for about 2 hrs reading this book non-stop. It's incredible! I think it has enhanced my sexual self-esteem and desires. I discussed the book with my boyfriend, and he also read it..and learned a thing or two. Let's just say it has been a very energetic, and rough sexual experience for the both of us. He definetly knows what I want now!

Summary: An honest refiew, not in French or by a prude.
Review: I'm a Christian husband that has been married for 24 years. I don't know who that previous review is trying to impress, but who reads in French? And thanks to those next two negative reviews I almost didn't buy the book. A good laugh? Get real! My wife is beyond hope when it comes to sexual help, but if you want to know how a very [ambitious] guy feels about a healthy sexuality, read this book. This author thinks exactly like me. She's not a Christian but I've found Christian authors to be too vanilla when it comes to covering stuff like this. We live in the real world and in that world a guy like me is always [ambitious].
Reading a book like this is like a present to me. It's how I've always felt and still feel. Of course my wife still thinks everything suggested in this book is crazy and only for [the used] but to me, it was a real treat to read!

Summary: SEXY YOU 101
Review: Infinite love is who we really are and who we refuse to be. ~David Deida

The Good Girl's Guide to Bad Girl Sex is everything your mother should never teach you because it is much more interesting to learn it on your own. I felt the first few chapters went overboard trying to convince you to be "bad." By the third chapter I was longing for the word "goddess" or any other word that would imply an awakening to sexuality as a good experience. I tried to overlook this and glean some knowledge about sexuality from a book that can at times dip into the wilder side of life.

I can say that after reading this book, men will react in a much more positive way. As you wander over to the deli, the deli guy is sure to notice the leopard print robe in your shopping cart and imagine what your lover will think when you surprise him dressed to kill, attack or even just to tease like a playful cat. You may find yourself changing your wardrobe in subtle or not so subtle ways.

Barbara Keesling has a wicked streak in her sexuality that can be appealing to some men, but may not appeal to others. Some men may fear loosing your love if you start to dress in various ways and you may want to take her advice about wearing less with more caution than is advised in this book. Some men would prefer you only dressed this way in private and in some situations the way you dress may save your life and prevent sexual assault. So, that is my caution. Women might react to you differently if you throw your sexuality around in public because it might feel threatening.

Barbara Keesling presents a number of exercises to encourage your inner goddess to come out to play. Is your voice appealing to men? Have you written a sexy letter to your lover lately? You can add your own words to three love letters. She explains what men love and why women should keep their lips kissable and get an advanced degree in teasing. I think this book is the course and there are assignments. I did love the ideas about food and you may want to invest in some body paints. Who knew a rolling pin could be used to give a massage.

While this book presents a lifestyle that could be exhausting if taken to the extreme, I can say I found a few new ideas and the day after reading this I tossed out a few items and replace them with a sexier robe and new lingerie. To say the least, my husband was pleased with my sexier attitude and he even stole this book from me and read it for hours.

It did occur to me that this book could boost your overall confidence and it seems that is exactly what happens. It is more about being comfortable with your female sexuality than throwing yourself to the wolves. I don't see anything wrong with being a good girl in public and a bad girl in private. The idea of throwing your sexuality around in public doesn't feel right to this good girl. How about a little mystery?

I'd recommend reading 227 Ways to Unleash the Sex Goddess Within by Olivia St. Claire before reading this book because this seems to be the next level. You might also enjoy: The Seduction Cookbook, Intercourses: An Aphrodisiac Cookbook, Kama Sutra Massage Oils and David Deida's beautiful book: Dear Lover: A woman's guide to enjoying love's deepest bliss. If you want your man to make you feel more sexy, then buy him "Gentleman Start Her Engine" by Steven A. Guerrero.

Summary: Trust me--buy this book!<g>
Review: This book belongs on every woman's shelf--right next to Laure Redmond's "Feel Good Naked" and SARK's "Eat Mangos Naked". This is one of the very few books that gets to the heart of it--increasing your sensuality and appeal by increasing your self esteem.THAT is the aim of the book--the idea that being "bad" is a joyous attitude of self love and self respect--recognizing that you are a precious, gorgeous, voluptuous, sexy human being--and your age, size--nothing!--can keep you from feeling this wonderful about yourself if you're willing to take the risk and embrace the changes. It's playful, thoughtful and funny--and the techniques are very, very effective.
