Summary: A Great Way To Educate Yourself About Anabolic Steroids
Review: The Steroid Bible is a great book. The information on side effects and how to avoid them is quite comprehensive. I also learned a lot about how steroids were first discovered, developed, and used. I can now make educated decisions about steroids. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is interested in learning about anabolic steroid use by athletes, bodybuilders, and the medical community.

Summary: A serious let down...
Review: I ordered this book to try to gain some insight about steroids and to aid my decision about trying them. I was so disappointed with this book I wanted to hurl. It's about a quarter inch thick, looks like it was printed at home on a bubble jet and bound with a cheap spiral thing. The information inside is brief and goes into no detail. The majority of the book is "testimonials" from supposed users. The grammar, punctuation and even the spelling were horrible, I felt like it was just a published version of some High School steroid report done the night before it was due. Very incoherent, in the testimonial section, there are no bullets or numbers or anything to distinguish where each new testimonial begins. There is absolutely nothing impressive about this book, no pictures, nothing!

Review: The Steroid Bible provided exactly what I was looking for. I now have a better understanding about the risks and benefits of steroid use and am able to make educated decisions. I was reluctant to buy another steroid book after wasting my valuable time on the worthless information in "Anabolics 2000", but after reading The Steroid Bible I am 100% satisfied.

Summary: Major Disappointment
Review: I purchased Steve Gallaway's "The Steroid Bible", and believe me there was nothing in the way of gospel in it. Seldom have I ever purchased a book and been as disappointed as I was with "The Steroid Bible". The book was vague,and very uninformative. It seemed like an advertising pamphlet for some newsletter Mr. Gallaway publishes. Also I was disturbed to see Mr. Gallaway hawking some supplement in a fitness magazine, and referring to his book to validate the purchase of this supplement.

Summary: Helped Me Avoid Some Big Mistakes
Review: The Steroid Bible has an extensive section on side effects that steroids can cause and how to avoid them. I found the information extremely valuable as it helped me avoid mistakes that could have effected me for the rest of my life.Don't believe those books that tell you that steroids are completely safe and you don't need to worry about long term side effects. If you don't know what you are doing steroids can cause major problems that you will live with for the rest of your life.

Summary: A Grocery List of Steroids - DOESNT HELP ANYONE
Review: email: noadds4me@hotmail.com I enjoyed the book (barely)...Particularly the insert on the 1988 FDA policy. But all that has been subordinated now by the Jeffords Amendment to the FDA appropriations bill (2000) - aka Medicine Equity and Drug Safety (MEDS) Act of 2000 So back to the book... Everyone knows the names of steroids... blah blah blah. Now what? What strategy? How does one keep gains and mollify losses and side-effects? The book has sections titled, "How Anabolic Steroids Work", "Anabolic Steroids and the Law", "Anabolic Steroid Detection"...et al. But to me they seem weak and uninformative. But that's just my take on it... In summary, my feeling is that this book seems to be little more than a grocery list of steroids. And actually, if you look at HIV muscle bulk building protocols, the implementation of steroids is really a very small (and simple) part of the equation. After all, to maximize gains and minimize post cycle losses, many other medications, timing, training and countless other relevant considerations are required to create an overall successful strategy. Look: It's my opinion that unless you have never entered a gym before; or, simply the victim of the disinformation campaigns of the mass media, and just want to know the names of some steroids and a few other ergogenic aids, then maybe you can find some (albeit: little) use for this book. But then again, I personally dont know why someone would need a book to list the names of a few steroids and such? My feeling is that there is more information posted on free Internet forums out there; many sponsored by physicians, that list ALL the medications, where they come from, where to get them, and how to successfully use them together with all the other medications and strategies required to reinforce retainable gains.... I just don't get it? But what more should I expect from a non-physician reporting on some pharmaceuticals?!

The Steroid Bible reveals the truth about steroids. Some books lead you to believe that counterfeit steroids are the only steroids that can be harmful. The truth is that all steroids, if misused, can cause serious negative side effects. The Steroid Bible discusses these side effects in great detail and shows you how to avoid them.
